The Sunday Telegraph reports Amelia Adams will relocate to London with husband Luke, 4-year-old son Charlton and 16-month-old daughter Matilda to start her new role as European correspondent. That’s a huge commitment. The same report also says Seb Costello will return to the Melbourne newsroom.

Are you talking about Amelia or Seb? Amelia would not have accepted the new role without being allowed to take her young family as well.
It’s worked out well for her family with her husband becoming a stay at home dad with the two young children in London.

Why wouldn’t she be allowed to take her family? Who would be stopping her from doing so?

Scherri-Lee Biggs is presenting weather for Nine Live Perth inside the studio today (25/5/2018).
If Nine are grooming Mark Burrows to be the new 3rd in-line Sydney newsreader, it’s almost certain that he’ll be presenting the Morning & Sydney 4pm bulletins on Monday/Friday once Amelia Adams goes overseas because Deborah Knight had that role as the previous 3rd in-line Sydney newsreader for some time until the end of last year.
Personally I’m not sure what Darren Wick/Simon Hobbs find so appealing about Mark Burrows as a newsreader when I’ve often found Mark to look/feel somewhat uneasy being behind the desk. That and remembering how the presenting skills of Jayne Azzopardi & Sophie Walsh are somewhat underutilized by Nine right now - IMO either or both could easily become the next Sarah Harris (ie, a star at Ten or Seven) if Nine aren’t too careful in the not too distant future!
