So no more Melbourne?
Yes - QLD during DS periods.
Surprised they’ll be switching back and forward. Thought it’d be simpler to just keep controlling it from Sydney year round.
Rough start to Darwin tonight - first 15 minutes had audio issues. Audio sounded duplicated and echoey, audio levels inconsistent through stories. Practically unwatchable.
Bulletin went to a quick break and returned fixed around 6:17.
Nine News Darwin will be pre-recorded tonight as Adelaide will be utilizing their control room tonight in Sydney
Cant they just use the Melbourne control room for Darwin and Sydney’s for Adelaide, or the other way round?
Surprised they didnt do it the other way around
All the control rooms are in use at the time when Darwin needs to go live.
Sacrificing a live service for NT has the least minimal impact on the network - but apparently more local content is expected due to national packs not being ready at time of recording.
Perth? Or is that controlled from the east coast?
Perth is in use from 6:30pm Darwin time (5pm Perth time) due to their WA first bulletin, so thats unavailable for Darwin to use
NTD’s newsroom is down due to a major system failure - exactly what happened to Adelaide. Nine Queensland was shown into Darwin tonight.
Issues may not be fixed by tomorrow I’m hearing.
Wow. Not some type of cyber attack?
Oh god. First Adelaide and now Darwin. Who’s next, Perth or NBN?
Not a good look for Nine, looks like its backfiring on them
And it happened on Anzac Day when both Scott Morrison and deputy Opposition Leader Richard Marles attended the dawn service in Darwin this morning. Would have been a big news day.
Not Broadcasting to the NT?
