Nine also signed a contract that said they would not so what they did, and that contract states the penalty is revokation of accreditation.
There should be no capitulation.

Wendy Kingston co-anchored Gold Coast News on location for the Commonwealth Games. The backdrop looked much better than the used for Seven News Brisbane’s OB bulletin.
Bruce Paige was in-studio.
Only the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games would knock a cyclone down to 2nd place in the running order of the bulletin!
Let me guess…the “Games Scandal” Nine is reporting relates to their loss of media accreditation?
The Games came first in the headlines but the cyclone was the first story reported; the games was the 4th story.
“Live from the Nine News Commonwealth Games headquarters where we’ve uncovered a shocking athlete sex scandal. This is story the team doesn’t want you to see” was the opening headline. Then the story was reported by Darren.
Nine News Perth should use this live shot for their 6pm News and zoom in to this degree on Michael (avoids his hand movements):
After leaving Seven last month, Mark Llelwellyn is returning to Nine:
What are our thoughts on this? Is Seven’s loss Nine’s gain or could they have done better?
He should’ve been appointed News and Public Affairs Director at Seven long before Raschke had a chance to fuck up Seven News Sydney by removing the one person who was capable of defeating Overton in the ratings. The appointment of McPherson to clean up that mess has been an abject failure demonstrated by the fact Ferguson is still dragging down the bulletin and he has had Llewellyn working on projects the network wasn’t fully committed to. I would love to have seen what Llewellyn and Bath could’ve done if they’d been allowed to have greater input and control over the Sydney bulletin considering what they were able to achieve with Sunday Night.
autocue controller on the desk? classy.
They seem to always be doing that these days.
What’s with the purple
It reminds me a bit of the British Embassy in Berlin, there’s a large cylindrical structure that’s part of the facade and the shade of purple is apparently the shade you get when you mix the official colours of the Union Jack.
Purple is the royal colour.
Nice how the colour of the straps was tied in with the graphics. Does anyone have a video of the opener to the broadcast?
