There wasn’t any audio of it, but interesting to see the conversation had just before the update was presented.

Right at the end of Madison Scott’s live cross in Sydney last night there was a huge thunder boom. Gave both her and Pete a bit of a shock.

Just watched tonight’s Melbourne bulletin on 9Now and went through the stories of interest to me and during the weather segment no weather graphics showed up on screen. No acknowledgment from Brett McLeod before signing off.

Nine just crashed mid- advert with an already started in studio interview about Ben Roberts-Smith.
Very odd.

Which state? In Melbourne it crashed properly with an introduction to the breaking news.

If that’s the reason to interrupt programming (even an ongoing interview), it’s completely fine.

I noticed the bug on the 8PM Sydney update was entirely square, rather than the regular round corners on the right hand side.
Does Nine still have a national news update on Saturdays around 10.30pm? GTV use do it for many years before Perth took over.
