The Australian’s Media Dairy says that a faulty air conditioning unit at Nine’s data centre just before 6pm caused equipment to overheat - that also impacted the control room.

Jeremy Pudney has resigned as news director in Adelaide, just says after his deputy Ben Avery quit to run the SA Libs’ media. Pudney will stay until after the March election.

Big change for 9 Adelaide, who has already lost Kate Collins, Ben Avery, and now Jeremy Pudney. If Nine is serious about this market, they will need to poach talent like Michael Smyth, and even former 7 Adelaide news directors like Terry Place, who took 7NEWS Adelaide to No.1
And the EP in May apparently.
He’s joining Flinders University.
Wonder if this is a broader part of 9’s efforts at cultural change.

Nine News Gold Coast is again being shown on Nine’s SD channel in the area with AO coverage continuing on 9HD.
However, on Monday Nine cut away from the tennis to show the last segment of the local news.
Such a weird decision. Why not put it on 9Go!?
