Is there some doubt as to whether the planned Tasmanian bulletin will go ahead at all or is it just a case of Nine and WIN not being able to agree on a bulletin format etc.?

It was mentioned not long ago that they are waiting until EOFY now. Must be a funding thing.

What is there to agree on? 6pm newshour, done.

Incredible live pictures on Nine Sydney this afternoon - nothing on Seven. “Rolling coverage” for about 10 minutes. Now this a voice report from the scene from cameraperson, with building collapsing.

Edit - just appeared on Seven about 10 minutes later.

Edit - non stop rolling coverage for 40 minutes.

Coverage continuing past 5:20pm - 1 hour continuous coverage.

Why does 9 have to do non stop coverage? It reminds me of those cartoons. A building is on fire. What more do you need to know till you get more info? Even 7 and 10 are normal programming. Update us at 6pm news

Then go to 7 or 10. That’s the beauty of having a choice.

It adds credibility to a news service by being seen to be on the scene with live coverage of a major fire

Glad you aren’t making the decisions.

Did this break into Today Extra or the morning news?

Nine using yesterday’s fire coverage in today’s promo

“On the ground in your suburb; breaking news as it happens and the full story at 6.”

“Nine News Newsbreak” does sound a bit odd though, “update” would probably fit better
