Nine Network - Programs and Schedules

Probably don’t care too much being in summer mode and all…

Where will future seasons of 2 Broke Girls air? Fox8?

I asked about this and was told they are on the free market so anyone could snap them up.

With Nine having the exclusive catalogues of Paramount & MGM (two of the oldest studios, being two of the biggest during the ‘Golden Era’), it sets them up perfectly for 9Gem! As well as probably more ‘classic’ titles than the other networks.

Would Nine have a relationship with Stan in that certain titles on Nine can appear on Stan?

According to TV Tonight, Chicago Med has been bumped to 9.40pm Wednesdays from next week.

Christmas in Brisbane - one hour program for Queensland only; unfortunately in SD. A few live crosses interspersed with majority pre-recorded segments including a few carols. Good concept and easily funded by the sponsors who very easily got their money’s worth tonight.

National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (?)

Probably. It’s one of Australian TV’s festive season traditions, like Nine airing “Can’t Stop The Music” (or SBS airing “Dinner For One”) on New Years Eve!

National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (?)
[/quote]I’d be fairly confident with one or possibly even two of them airing on Christmas night yet again this year. After all, it’s a tradition for Nine (much like Can’t Stop The Music is for NYE as SCTV has mentioned).

I’d be surprised if they didn’t get that.

Not sure where to post this random bit of information I’ve found, so I figured this would do.

I was having a look at the schedule for Christmas Day and noticed that Nine and Ten are both showing different sequels of the same movie on the same day.

TEN:
11:30am Christmas Day: Jingle All The Way 2

NINE:
4:15pm Christmas Day: Jingle All The Way 1

Not often you see that happen!

I believe that Channel Seven originally aired the first “Jingle All The Way” movie back in 1999 and that Ten has also aired it in the past. Full circle!

Watch the sequel before the original. :stuck_out_tongue:

Episode 12 was on in SNSW last Monday, so presumably Sydney too?
