Watched the last 20 mins or so. Dull and uninspiring. Can’t imagine the winner (don’t even know his name) setting the charts on fire!

Even if the show is moderately successful, it messes with the schedule of Nine’s other shows and potentially viewers won’t find them again in new timeslots or when they return.

By my calculations, Australian Ninja Warrior will not only take on House Rules grand final next Sunday, but also MasterChef grand final at the end of this month. Nine must be supremely confident of the show’s ratings that it can cause ratings upset twice.

Interesting. There’s a couple of articles about two stars of McLeod’s Daughters posting the same picture to Instagram with the caption “Watch This Space”. Reboot?
Nine confirms rumours of a reboot for McLeod’s Daughters
Channel Nine has confirmed it is looking at a reboot of beloved Aussie drama McLeod’s Daughters.
“We are talking to (creator) Posie Graeme Evans about how we could tackle it,” a Nine spokesman said.
Hopefully, they would do it as a spin-off rather than try to revive some of those old characters from the show and have difficulties explaining absences of others.

From what I understand the property used for the show has been converted and extensive renovated as a hotel/B&B don’t see how they would be able to work with that.
I like the idea of more investment in Australian Drama, but I agree it needs to be a spin off.

I would love to see it return but it looks like it got rejected. It would then make sense for the stars to see if they can get some hype.
How do you come to that conclusion? The story says Nine confirmed they are talking to the producer about a way to bring the show back.
Sounds like House Husbands and possibly Love Child are cactus if the reboot or spin-off happens.

Sunday Herald Sun today reveals Nine is interested in reviving Talkin’ 'Bout Your Generation for 2018 and Shaun Micallef could be part of the show. If confirmed it will be the second time Micallef hosts a program on Nine after his short-lived chat show in 2003.
