Nine Network - Programs and Schedules

Yep. Universal channel shows repeats of Criminal Intent.

Didn’t that not go so well for The Footy Show back in 2014 ratings wise?

Pretty arrogant to go up against Fox Footy and not Seven when they have Thursday Night AFL.

It’s 7pm until The Voice starts, then I expect it’ll be around 8.40pm

It’s repeats which are up for grabs by any network.

Nine have The Big Bang Theory and Seven have The Big Bang Theory repeats. That makes a lot less sense. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Does anyone know if Chicago Med will continue into season two after next week or will they start Chicago Justice instead? Or neither. Which wouldn’t be ideal.

Something I’ve just noticed about Spy in the Wild. The 5-part BBC series started in WA last Wednesday, meaning it is always one episode in front of other states, although this week and next week the show will have the same timeslots everywhere (7pm Sundays and 7.30pm Wednesdays). With the Logies on April 23 and The Voice on April 24-26, it will be interesting to see how Nine schedules the final episode of Spy in the Wild in the rest of Australia in that week.

Surely I’m not the only one that’s curious to see if Nine (probably through 9GO) ends up airing Season 9 of Curb Your Enthusiasm this year - I wonder if they would still have the rights?

Big changes to the third Team Kids Easter Appeal in Adelaide this year. Doesn’t look like there will be a live component this year, instead hosted by six young ambassadors introducing pre-recorded packages. Running from 2-6pm.

Alice Monfries and Will McDonald hosting a seemingly live portion as of 5pm. Lots of repeated stories from earlier in the day.

Would Nine have had it through their WB deal that predated HBO going it alone to distribute programs internationally? I’m guessing it will be on Foxtel Showcase??

Is this the first time Nine fasttracks a season of BGT? Season 11 started on ITV on Saturday (April 15) with auditions.

Sigh. Lazy programming by Nine again.
Didn’t most of the Voice’s Encores rate pretty poor last year?

Lazy programming is airing the 10-15 year old ‘Kings of Comedy’ each year post Logies.

They should repeat the even older Golden Years of Television fronted by David Lyle.

The airing of “Kings of Comedy” after the Logies seems to be one of Nine’s annual programing traditions, like how National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation is shown every Christmas night or how Can’t Stop The Music is on every New Years Eve.

Isn’t “Kings of Comedy” just a filler program that never gets shown due to the Logies overrunning?

No. It’s shown every single year after the Logies.

Why are they even airing this on their main channel? The cupboards must be really bare at nine.

They have Chicago Med and Chicago Justice they could be airing.
