Nine Network - Programs and Schedules

Firstly, is this confirmed, wow! Secondly, yeah I was going to say, 10pm? Meh, negligible difference, 9pm would’ve been better. I’m sure the show/GTV would’ve tried to ask programming, but must’ve been knocked back, in favour of network first run RPA play-out (ratings? contractual/commercial?)

Victorian government mustn’t have continued funding, first season was filmed in Melbourne IIRC.

This seems more a make-goods for advertisers to me now, but perhaps product placement within the show too, so also need to repeat them - I mean Nine surely must admit to themselves it’s very unlikely to go anywhere from here, last night another low and close to a Highway Patrol re-run IIRC.

Love Island (UK) Season 10 announced for 5 June on ITV. Will have to see if it gets a run on 9Go again or is a 9Now exclusive.

So the AFL cities get the same Tina doco twice in three nights? Yawn. I get it showing it in Sydney and Brisbane though.

Did Nine today air a program about The Voice jointly with Fox?

As part of Today Extra

Is there a full recording somewhere?

This is about half of it

It’s good to see Yvonne Sampson “back on Nine”. She was the host of the Sporting Yes to the Voice, that aired on Today Extra.

I thought Seven held the rights to The Voice now… so hard to keep up with all this network swapping.

UNLOCK THE SECRETS KEPT BY THE WORLD’S HIGHEST PEAK

EXPEDITION EVEREST

TUESDAY, MAY 30, AT 8:55PM ON CHANNEL 9 & 9NOW

Mount Everest’s greatest secrets are waiting to be uncovered in an unrivalled adventure when Expedition Everest premieres tomorrow night on Channel 9 and 9Now in an Australian free-to-air-first.

This documentary follows the National Geographic and Rolex Perpetual Planet Expedition as a team of geologists, glacial experts, biologists, geographers and climate scientists conduct the most extensive scientific expedition ever undertaken on the mountain.

Expedition Everest sees the notorious Khumbu Glacier mapped in stunning detail, biologists studying extreme lifeforms, and a team of Sherpas and scientists climbing straight towards the “death zone” to install the highest weather station in the world.

The groundbreaking project illuminates the threats posed by melting glaciers to the nearby Himalayan communities, and offers insights into the motivations of the team willing to risk their lives to study the impact of climate change on one of Earth’s most extreme locations.

Expedition Everest is produced by National Geographic Studios, with Katie Bauer Murdock as director and producer, Christine Weber and Vanessa Serrao as executive producers, and Katherine Chivers as associate producer.

The documentary is narrated by actor Tate Donovan (MacGyver, The Man in the High Castle).
