Nine Network - Programs and Schedules

I notice with the start of daylight saving next weekend, that 9 News Now is remaining live into WA, causing a schedule change.

From:
11.30 Morning News
12.00 Ellen
01.00 Nine News Now

To:
11.30 Extra
12.00 Nine News Now
01.00 Ellen

Hasn’t been The One for 10 years now. No 2 network and No 2 news service nationally.

I never knew that Nine legally had to be a #1 rating network to reuse their longtime slogan “Still The One” as a one-off for their station/network birthday…

Let’s come back in a couple of months to see what Seven do to celebrate 60 years of TV, shall we?

They don’t have to be. :grinning:

Person of Interest returns 10:45pm Monday October 3 on Nine.

Good that they will catch us up with Survivor.

10:50 tonight is now yet another encore of Doctor Doctor - how many does that make?

TV Week and others are saying Hyde and Seek are double episodes

Another stupid programming move.

Currently the schedule provided by Nine doesn’t show a double episode.

It’s definitely not a double episode, as i’ve already seen Nine promoting that Australian crimes show for 9:45 Monday.

I remember someone saying on here somewhere (may have been in the ratings forum), that it wouldn’t take long for the networks to jump on true crime stories after the Jonbenet Ramsey special.

Well, it didn’t take too long…

Promo for Mondays, and Better Late Than Never promo

Nine in Adelaide are promoting Doctor Doctor on Sunday following the NRL - presumably for those without power on Wednesday.

WILLIAM SHATNER, HENRY WINKLER AND GEORGE FOREMAN INVADE ASIA

From Thursday 6 October at 8.40pm

HILARIOUS NEW TRAVELOGUE PREMIERES OCTOBER 6 ON NINE

Asia is about to be invaded by three of the greatest characters on television – William Shatner, Henry Winkler and George Foreman – in Nine’s hilarious new travel series, Better Late Than Never.

This fish-out-of-water comedy, premiering Thursday, October 6, at 8.40pm on Channel Nine, follows the two TV legends and the former world heavyweight boxing champion as they embark on the adventure of a lifetime in a non-scripted travel documentary series. Shatner, Winkler and Foreman are joined by American Pro Football Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw and young comedian Jeff Dye (I Can Do That) as they travel throughout Asia, making stops in Tokyo, Kyoto, Seoul, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Chiang Mai.

Along the way they check off the to-do’s on their bucket lists as they experience the culture, cuisine and so much more that Asia, an enchanted land of beauty and untold wonder, has to offer.

New episodes of The Big Bang Theory will be shown on Thursday nights from October 13 according to a promo tonight. Previous seasons have aired on Mondays and Tuesdays. Good move by Nine especially with The Bachelorette struggling in ratings.

Watching S8 on Presto and the Big Bang doesn’t seem as funny anymore.
