I’d also wondered whether viewers were happy to see Mel Doyle back on their screens, she’s very good at narrating and seems well suited to the genre.

I wonder why they mentioned “10 and Nine” in the press release instead of the numerically ordered “Nine and 10”.

Perhaps 10 initiated the idea of doing a telethon and then approached Nine to see whether they would be interested in getting involved?

Well the media release received did come from 10.

Here’s an image with the order reversed.

Nine Melbourne won’t have dedicated live coverage of Moomba Parade next Monday (March 14), even though the network is the new media partner of the carnival. Instead there will be live crosses during Today Extra and Morning News at 11.30am.

Disappointing (but not surprising) that the Storm v Rabbitohs game is not on the main channel in Melbourne.
I’m guessing Nine is too scared to go head-to-head with the Richmond v Carlton AFL game on Seven.

Geez, that’s poor by Nine considering Seven provided live coverage of the parade for years when they were the City of Melbourne’s media partner.

That’s very poor….

The parade will be streamed live on Nine’s Facebook page.

Must think the numbers will be so low, not worth putting it on their actual business. Bit sad really.
