Im new to this thread so maybe its been mentioned but my pet peeve are the clickbait headlines using asterisks EG f***ing. Todays Courier Mail has that in 2 different headlines on their online front banner. Why is that so necessary in this day and age? Bloody hell, I’m not against swearing but we all know what the “bad” word is so why use it when it is bound to offend some people. Although in all likelihood older people who aren’t reading online. Courier Mail really disappoints me these days with their sensationalist headlines over exaggerating things and these swearing “quotes” must work these days as clickbait. Personally, it make me lose trust and respect in the source.
