The NCIS metaverse

Season 3 of NCIS: New Orleans premieres this Sunday (March 12) at 9.40pm. Grace Sewell’s cameo will air on March 19.

NCIS: New Orleans will have its first original novel titled Crossroads. Written by Jeff Mariotte, it will be released in Australia next week. Here is the synopsis:

NCIS is charged with apprehending dangerous and elusive criminals that pose a threat to the nation’s security. In a city that keeps surviving disaster, one elite team is dedicated to making its shores a little safer. During the famous Mardi Gras parade, a young Naval oceanographer plunges to his death from a hotel balcony. It’s up to Pride and his crew to investigate. But this is a case that goes from grisly to utterly strange. A gris-gris bag found in the victim’s belongings, a trail of mystical clues, and the haunting figure of a voodoo loa on CCTV at the crime scene all suggest that dark powers are at work in The Big Easy.

Tonight is fantastic :grinning:

A cross-over double-up, with NCIS + NCIS New Orleans.

Titles “Pandora’s Box - Part 1” (NCIS) & “Pandora’s Box - Part 2” (NCIS New Orleans).

Both airing back-to-back.

How would this double-ep be released on DVD?

Yes it was a fantastic crossover. I saw it back in February and was able to enjoy it again tonight with captions on my TV. Ten did the right thing after botching last year’s crossover, although this made a few fans of NCIS: Los Angeles not happy. (NCIS: LA will be back next week)

We can wait a week for NCIS: LA. The season’s nearly over anyway. Ten did the right thing.

Too difficult to understand American? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

The five remaining episodes of NCIS season 4 will be shown at 8.30pm Tuesdays from July 25.

It won’t air next Tuesday as movie Aloha will air instead in its place.

Returns

Tuesday 8 August at 8.30pm with S14 Ep20, A Bowl Of Cherries

After a vice admiral’s laptop is infected with ransomware, he enlists McGee and the NCIS team to track down the hacker before the computer virus eliminates his personal and professional files.

I think the release date was planned well in advance so it occurred after the season finished its run on Ten. It changed when Ten decided to rest the season for a few weeks to make way for Shark Tank.

There is a cast change ahead of season 15 premiere of NCIS in the US at the end of this month. Jennifer Esposito (Alex) has left the show after just one season and will co-star opposite John Travolta in the feature Speed Kills for Hannibal Classics. Esposito will be replaced by Maria Bello, most recently seen on Amazon series Goliath. Bello will play an agent who served two tours in Afghanistan and is the current leading forensic psychologist in her field.

At the end of the episode last night there was a promo saying Brand New Season - Tuesday September 26, surely we won’t be getting it hours before the US?

Interesting development if true!

That would never happen.

It would be a great way to make people start watching the US dramas on FTA again

Ten will fasttrack season 9 of NCIS: Los Angeles at 9.30pm Tuesdays from October 3, one day after the US due to time difference.

Nia Long joins the show as new executive assistant director Shay Mosely, replacing Miguel Ferrer, who played Owen Granger for five seasons before his death in January this year.

Pauley Parrette is leaving NCIS at the end of the 15th season. She has played Abby since the show began in 2003. Going to be a big loss as her character provides a lot of fun and wackiness.

The 15th season premieres on Ten on Tuesday, October 17.

One will repeat the first season of NCIS with double episodes at 8.30pm Mondays from October 9, according to a promo shown tonight.
