You would think that Seven announced the show now, to give Adrian sufficient time to apply for necessary permits to conduct the live prize draw next year. ---

Sounds like a very convoluted contest, no doubt wanting to have some point of difference from The Block. If it gets programmed in the vacant slot left by Honeymoon Island it would finishes up around this time next year. Part of the plan would be to preempt The Block and might take viewers away who have had enough renos for the year. ---

I think they are basically getting this one sponsored by Adrian. So it’s cost effective. Without Adrian there would be no show. So that’s your answer as to why. ---

Yawn another generic Reno format. It looks like they are trying to do The Block while also fixing the criticism of The Block - that The Block houses just go to rich people who are looking for their 4th investment property. ---
