Not if they’re cutting the shit out of it.
Just put a warning at the start saying the main character does dumb shit that shouldn’t be done and that’s it. Leave it alone.

Sorry yeah, I missed that part lol.
Beverly Hills Cinema in Sydney’s South West are closing their doors TODAY.
Not much of a reason of its closure, but readers on FB mentioned an application to build apartments on that site and surrounding area. Sad to see it go.
Im surpised it’s still operating. Event Cinemas at Hurstville are very close by.
Same here. I’m surprised its lasted this long (under the GU name too). Hurstville Events isn’t that far at all from Beverly Hills.
Still a shame it is closing down though. But I understand why (its location, lack of foot traffic, and streaming sites… and development).
That leaves Morley in Perth as the last “Greater Union” branded cinema operating in Australia. Considering that’s in a run-down Shopping Centre (managed by Vicinity), I would not be surprised if Morley is the next to go, ending the era of “Greater Union” branded cinemas.
At least this reduces EVT 's Indoor Cinema brands to 3 (or really 2), Event Cinemas and BCC Cinemas (mainly in regional Qld/NT) with Greater Union Morley being the outlier for now.
Bring back Greater Union!
GU Morley has been a weird half/half of them and Event since whenever Event became the brand.
Super strange it’s still a GU.
Matthew Lillard is returning to the Scream franchise, 29 years later.
Didn’t his character die in the first instalment?
Adored The Brutalist. See it if you are a Movie Man (or Movie Woman).
I see Guy Pearce is up for an Academy Award.
And always liked Adrien Brody, always thought he’s quite underrated despite his Oscar 20+ years ago and that infamous moment with Halle Berry. He was fantastic in “Predators” (2010).
Yep, my thoughts too as to how Kevin Williamson will incorporate him into the plot.
I also see it’s been confirmed Courteney Cox is back again, the only original to appear in every single one, arguably as iconic if not more now than her “Friends” character. Of course when the great late Wes Craven got her filming the first back in 1995, Friends was only getting started and not a huge show yet, mid-90s was very much “Seinfeld” completely dominating.
Both are excellent in the movie.
Of course, “Friends” ended over 20 years ago (and MP has died). I think all the key Scream" cast from the first movie are still with us?
AFAIK, yep
Neve Campbell (who was the original ‘face’ before she missed a recent instalment over a pay dispute), Courteney Cox and David Arquette. Who appeared in all films up until recent ones.
And from the original Drew Barrymore (in that iconic opening scene often parodied), Liev Schreiber (who played the ‘red herring’ in the plot), Rose McGowan, Skeet Ulrich, Matthew Lillard, Jamie Kennedy and even the great Henry Winkler (who played the ill fated school principal).
Are all still alive. I believe the major ones are all returning for this “Scream VII” (7).
The first movie and the series really was a one of a kind, what it did for the genre and inspired for later genres, still to this day and holds up well. The re-boots lately have all been mega hits and been very well received too. The tweaks in cast and special guests upon each one has been done well too, would recommend seeing the latest ones or doing a series re-watch. I think 10 recently aired them and available on multiple streamers as well as rent and to buy on digital and DVD/BluRay/4K.
The lawsuit has originated from the estate of Joseph Shuster, one of the original illustrators of Superman who created Superman along with writer Jerome Siegel.
The lawsuit filed in New York on Friday (January 31) aims to prevent the release of the movie in countries including Australia, Canada, Ireland, and the UK and noted that Shuster and Siegel had licensed their rights to the character to Detective Comics, the predecessor of DC Comics, now a subsidiary of Warner.
Under British law, claims the lawsuit, Shuster’s rights reverted to his estate in 2017, 25 years after his death.
Shuster’s estate is seeking monetary damages and a court order blocking Warner from depicting Superman without a licence.
