Bloody Red Bull. BRT did very bloody well to get 1-2 in qualifying.

Looks like a long year for the Chevs and a very long year for the Toyotas.

Also, going back to my last comment - Sydney Motorsport Park needs some major upgrades. The grandstand needs to be replaced and there should be more than ONE tunnel to get across to the paddock, especially at the end of the event.

Agreed - it is a nightmare to get out of the precinct if you’ve parked at the southern end (access via Ferrers Road from the Horsley Drive).

I also think there should be more temporary grandstands around the circuit as well, not just at the starting line.

There are people here wondering why the cars havent come up turn 5.

F1 2026 PS Testing 2, D3 classification:

Pre-season testing has officially wrapped up in Bahrain as Leclerc was the fastest overall (and all 3 sectors) with 1:31.992. Norris came in 2nd and Verstappen 3rd.

Lindblad had most laps of the day with 165, an impression from the rookie at 18 years old.

With testing wrapped up, it’ll be all eyes from Melbourne at Albert Park with a new era in effect 2 weeks from now. I cannot wait, and I am sure you can’t wait either. See you March 6-8.

Feeney wins this afternoon’s race as his team mate was rushed to hospital after his cool suit malfunctioned.

As someone who went to 2 out of the 3 days in friggin hot conditions - move it away from SMSP unless it gets a massive upgrade, and don’t have events in the summer.

In Her Corner will see Turn 6 at the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit renamed to recognise two trailblazing engineers: Laura K. Müller, Race Engineer at TGR Haas F1 Team and the first female full-time race engineer in Formula 1, and Hannah Schmitz, Head of Race Strategy at Oracle Red Bull Racing and Red Bull Technology.

They allegedly found asbestos in the pit lane rebuild at Albert Park. That means a doubling of cost (and probably a lot more money in CFMEU hands).

Get rid of the Melb GP and send it back to Radelaide. I’m done with the idiots running Vic.

Nah. Send it to Sydney.

It follows a new deal struck between Supercars and the Australian Grand Prix Corporation running through 2029.
