Nine won nationally and along the east coat with Seven winning Adelaide and Perth. It was 10’s highest Monday share of the year and best since July last year with Melbourne the best performing market outrating Seven (Seven’s main channel was 4th in Melbourne). The Block posted its best Monday number of this series but This Time Next Year that followed was a season low. HYBPA posted its highest rating since July 2018 and Survivor had its second highest audience ever on 10. 10 was the number one network in the key demo groups.

Big numbers for both Survivor and HYBPA.
So many people staying up in the east coast and Adelaide in the middle of the night to watch Australia winning the fourth test and retaining the Ashes (the match finished until 3.15am AEST followed by presentations).

Big number for Nine News in Melbourne - best since June.

Edit: Same story for 10 News Melbourne - highest audience since June.

Outside the top 20, 10 News was 21st, The Rookie 22nd, Montreal Comedy Festival 24th, Q&A 28th, SWAT 29th.

The tragic death of AFL legend Danny Frawley yesterday would be the reason.

Same with ABC news in Melbourne. Way up on last Monday’s figures.

Yes Nine, 10 and ABC News were all up last night.

Nine’s Footy Classified also did well in Melbourne. It ranked 22nd for the night and was 2nd in its timeslot (behind Montreal Comedy) up 60,000 on it usual rating. AFL 360 on Foxtel also ranked high in Melbourne receiving about three times its usual audience. 7Mate’s Talking Footy rated well down on usual in prelim numbers possibly because it was cut short.

Also Seven News Melbourne chose to name the identity, Nine News Melbourne didn’t.

Its a very healthy share for 10. Yes a lot is up on last week but did the comedy special rate well after HYBPA?

It lost more than half of its lead-in but still ranked 24th in total people ahead of the timeslot competition. In 25-54 it was 12th ahead of Seven’s 7.30 factuals and in 16-39 ranked 6th for the night outrating every program on Seven.

Yet people didn’t turn to the “AFL” network for the news. I find that very interesting, despite their promotion of being the “afl news service” essentially. It doesn’t resonate with viewers…

HYBPA, Australian Survivor outrated The Block. Yikes!
Channel 10 should be very impressed with the demographics. 10 will be on the way up this month

While Montreal Comedy show dropped a fair bit, it probably held more than what any of the pilot week shows will grab.
It would’ve been a good night to air the detective ladies.

Agreed. In an AFL mad city like Melbourne, Seven should own it. They don’t.

Never mind. Turns out they are encoring it next week in the slot i just mentioned. In fact next week seems to be Pilot Week Encore Week.
