Lowest rating ever for MKR and definitely Bad Mothers?

#3

Was just going to say. Not surprised given that Instant Restaurants have finished.

Instant Hotel is well and truly finished. DWTS is heading that way too.

MAFS was the same as last week but MKR and DWTS dropped. Viewers must have gone to Australian Story with the Mike Willesee tribute which was up significantly on last week.

Viewers gave Bad Mothers two weeks and decided it is bad.

Instant Hotel is an example of how not to schedule a show that has something going for it and could have been a success in a good timeslot.

Dancing would probably do better outside of MAFS and possibly another night? Sunday in Winter?

#6

It would go up against The Voice which wouldn’t be good. The Voice destroyed it in ratings in 2015.

#7

It’s pointless saying all 10 or 7 shows would do better away from MAFS. Well obviously they would but they still need content now.

#8

Exactly. Does people expect Seven and 10 to shut down when MAFS (or The Block) is on?

I think Dancing is doing ok. Not as bad as Tom is suggesting. I agree its just not the right time of the year for the show. As I have mentioned a few times it would just work a lot better with The Bachelor/ette franchises on a Tuesday night.

Before anyone jumps I am not suggesting 10 not air anything against Married and MKR - just that this is not the program. Cough Cough Survivor and The Apprentice anyone?

Dancing good show like Takeaway! Programmes not the problem clearly the channel!

4 Corners doing good business with the Pell episode. You’d imagine a sizeable audience on iVew as well. Good night for the ABC generally.

Dancing with the stars slipped again on its 3rd week due to Married at first sight dominance. Once Married is finished, I hope that dancing will fight back slightly.

#13

Outside the top 20, Ten News was at 21 with the Sydney bulletin recording its best Monday number of the survey. Sunrise was at 23 with Instant Hotel steady with recent weeks at 25.

The Latest rated higher than usual but in Melbourne it ranked 4th in its timeslot (total people and demos) and 22nd in that market.

Season high for The Project.

Worth noting that last Monday, Bad Mothers’ rating was adjusted down 70,000 in the final numbers.

DWTS is rating higher in total people than Sunday Night Takeaway and Changing Rooms ever has . Surely that is good though it isnt in the top demos…? David from TV Tonight says the ratings are on par with last week . DWTS does look better on consolidated numbers though…

DWTS was pretty good last night, in particular Courtney Act, Samuel Johnson and Olympia Valance, who were the last three to perform last night.

So instead of switching to Bad Mothers I stayed watching DWTS and completely forgot BM was on. Perhaps this is what happened with others?

RE DWTS, why bother with separate coding when the elimination and the actual show are only 4,000 apart? Wishful thinking perhaps??

Yep, Dancing was only down 6k from last week for the main portion of the show.

Getting a double digit main channel share is an achievement for 10

While the tribute to Mike Willesee gave Australian Story a bigger audience, it was the lead-in and following programs that were on a roll, look at the Media Watch number

#19

I expected a fall in Melbourne since it started one hour late to make way for an early edition of The Latest.

#20

Yeah I think some people don’t realise that it didn’t start until after 10pm last night, at least in Melbourne. So obviously it was going to drop further.
