Nine and 10 improved at the expense of the two public broadcasters. It was 10’s highest Monday share this year as Nine won total people and 25-54 with 10 winning with younger audiences. Nine was ahead in Sydney and Melbourne, Seven on top in the other markets. It was ABC’s lowest Monday share this survey.

The Voice and MasterChef were up, House Rules steady with HYBPA down from last Monday.

Best result for Seven News this year, also good numbers for ACA and The Project.

Cricket lifted 9Gem’s performance in the key demos.

The repeat of Brit Icons: Elton John did well, great timing as his biographical movie Rocketman hit the cinemas.
The corresponding episode of The Voice last year pulled 1.063 million.

Huge perth news for 7. But those big figures show a huge switch off at 7pm even though they are some of Home and Aways better numbers this year.

The bad weather driving people to the Tvs early last night.

Wow, awesome numbers for Neighbours. I haven’t seen the ep yet but I hope it’s at least a decent one because that show can be very up and down.

H&A doing good numbers too. I guess the cold weather is bringing people indoors again.

Elton John special did ok seeing it was a repeat.

Outside the top 20, 9-1-1 was 21s, Q&A 23rd. Celebrity Name Game had its best rating since launch ranking 26th that helped The Project at 6.30 that was 25th. Kinne Tonight dropped 100k from last week to 28th.

Solid ratings for 10 News Brisbane last night, over 100k and within 2k of ABC News.

Kinne couldn’t sustain it’s launch episode numbers from last week, down over 100k - I tried to watch the beginning of it following HYBPA and felt like I had seen most of the full skits posted online. I still think the show is confused about what it is… seems all over the place.

Celeb Name Game did well last night all things considered also, just under 300k and well up on what Pointless was doing in the same timeslot.

Kinnie is still doing ok at 9:45. Its a hard slot to get right. I haven’t watched the show but I do think these sorts of shows have some life at this time of the night. I believe 10 should be using these pilot week shows as shown first on Peach and then replayed at 9:30 on 10. Peach is struggling big time.

The return of Madeleine West must have boosted it.

Ah, was that last night…that would explain it. I’m looking forward to seeing how this storyline goes. And good timing too with all the Logie hype.

I wonder how the French Open has been rating for SBS. I haven’t seen a big increase in there shares, so i assume not that well?

Last night, it started at 9.30, while most other nights, it starts at 10.30pm.

Hopefully ratings for French Open should increase with Ashleigh Barty reaching the quarter finals.

CWC on 9Gem not setting the world on fire

Not doing very well. about 40% the audience that the cricket is getting.

But they have demographics.

7flix had a shocker, 7food Network beat that share on one night last week!

But not in the “coveted 25-54s” one…

The Australian game that started late did well the other night.

Well it usually starts pretty late and I think the French Open lacks the appeal to the other Grand Slams. Well it does to me anyway.

That’s just it I think, with the CWC overseas, we only seem to care about the Aussies.

Don’t think we should be expecting too much for games involving England and Pakistan. Australian’s do only care about Australia. And that is only when they are winning. If they had lost the first match the rest would be rating significantly lower
