An easy win for Nine – its best Monday for 7 weeks plus a big improvement for 10 – up 4 points. Seven dropped 7 points from the previous week to its lowest Monday result since March. Seven’s main channel ranked 4th for the night.

Nine won all markets except Perth where Seven was 10 points clear of second placed Nine.
10 ranked second in the three east coast markets.
Nine won 25-54, 10 won 16-39.

Part 2 of the The Lindy Chamberlain documentary was up 180,000 from Sunday’s result with HYBPA up 60k week-on-week.

ABC’s line up improved slightly. 10 News posted some of its highest numbers since the ‘centralisation’.

Big jump in audience for the Lindy Chamberlain documentary. Word of mouth perhaps?
America’s Got Talent dragged down Seven’s shares and there are two more episodes to go, before SAS: Australia debuts.

Good jump for Lindy Chamberlain doco. It was fantastic television. I know a lot think its strange from 10. But it was compelling.

And who thought it was a good idea to have an American talent show as a filler because of the impact of COVID? Not to mention shuffling the timeslots multiple times so that even those who were committed to the show couldn’t even find it.

Seven’s ratings were embarrassing last night. They need to get SAS to air right away and save America’s Got Talent/whatever other filler for non-ratings where it wouldn’t matter.

How did Drunk History go? 10’s share seems to be very healthy and its not like anything really dominated.

Last night’s Drunk History was a repeat (the pilot episode in fact). Seems that 10 decided not to waste a new episode due to the post-10pm start.

The Block seems to be struggling at a time when it doesn’t really have any competition from reality shows. Will be interesting to see if Junior Masterchef makes it drop further.

Worrying sign for night two of 10Shake

10 Shake’s best demo audience is not surprisingly 16-39 where it manages to reach single figures. In that age group it is on a par with 9Rush and outrates 7Two and 9Gem.

It is night two. It is niche and surely it is mainly targeting children during the day rather than being a huge in the evening. If it doesn’t pick up over summer it would be more worrying.

That’s very rare. What were the numbers please?

The difference was just 2,000. Hot Seat was ahead in the East Coast markets.

Strange that viewers then switch to The Chase at 5:30PM

I think it is a case of people turning on the TV as 6pm approaches to watch the news and putting on the channel they will watch the news on. So they aren’t actually changing channel.

what are 7 thinking with their schedule this week? golden opportunity to launch SAS before masterchef starts and they waste it on filler content.

I assume they are hoping the AFL will give it the best launch possible.
