Nine was again the winner on Monday despite losing some audience from its multichannels. 10 was also down with ABC up 1 and Sven boosted by over 2 points. Nine won along the east coast plus Adelaide with Seven leading as usual in Perth.

On a big news day, Married At First Sight was knocked out of first place but was still an easy winner out of the entertainment programs on offer. Seven’s one off documentary did better than most of the network’s reality shows at 7.30 while The Amazing Race on 10 posted a 5-week high.

For ABC, Four Corners recorded a season high 708,000.

10 News’s exclusive report on the Parliamentary Sex scandal saw the bulletin record its highest audience of 2021 and the highest since August last year with The Project that followed also boosted. Other news services plus ACA also lifted with coverage of the NSW and QLD flooding.

Inside Chernobyl rated quite well for Seven, certainly higher than Holey Moley, Ultimate Tag and Royal Scandals documentary in the Monday 7.30pm timeslot recent weeks.

The Amazing Race went back above 500,000 as the finale draws near.

Cue Seven to air more of these.

I have to admit I was quite sceptical that this would do well. I am still surprised that it did better than their other key reality shows. It even beat The Amazing Race.

I’ve watched it but wasn’t blown away. The star of the show was Dana - the singing dog. :laughing:

Inside Chernobyl did quite well than Holey Moley And Ultimate tag in its Monday 7:30 timeslOt.

Sunrise was up on its usual results to its 5th highest audience of the year (I though it might have been higher). it was 40k ahead of second placed Today that recorded its highest 2021 audience. News Breakfast was +30,000 behind Today. Today did well to win the Sydney and Brisbane markets.

Shakes new lineup of The Middle / The Office didn’t boost the channels audience last night, in fact it’s audience share was down 0.2% on last week. Seems they’ve still got some work to do…

Close numbers for news in Melbourne.

1 Like

It may have pulled the same numbers as last week but with the main channels way up on last week’s numbers it’s pushed shares down.

@TV.Cynic
What does it mean like last week too when Married at First Sight was a timeslot winner across the 5 City and timeslot winner in all metro capitals if they’re both the same thing, confused.!?

And what is GS + Child.?

Timeslot winner for 5 cities refer to the total metro audience (see column heading 5 cities). So obviously winning that doesn’t always mean winning each of the 5 individual markets.

GS = Grocery Shopper

2 Likes

Yeah but it actually does also say timeslot winner in all metro capitals, meaning all 5 individual metro markets…
Isn’t the Metro Market the 5 Individual Cities??

Who are the Grocery Shoppers, child’s parents? Grocery Shoppers & Child are also then included in the Ratings??

Didn’t know that…

I dont get how they know that a child is watching? Where does this data come from?

A Grocery Shopper who has a child is one of the groups of people that are a subset of the ratings - if refers to the primary shopper in a family and doesn’t include the child.

I mean like how does the TV know who’s watching… like an adult could be watching Peppa Pig lol

Going by the demos adults are watching Peppa pig.
They have to insert info when watching tv of who’s there etc

You are referencing 2 seperate notes.
It was a timeslot winner in all capitals that’s why it says it.
The other note is Nine comparing it to last week where it didn’t win the timeslot in all metro states but it was high enough in 3 of them that the combined 5 total it was a winner

Is anyone else going to say the same thing?
