For the second consecutive night Nine won the overnight ratings by a margin of just 0.2%. Nine also had the top main channel as well as winning across the three east coast markets. Seven won Adelaide and Perth while 10 was also a winner as the top rated network in the key demographic groups.

The reality results followed a similar pattern to Sunday with MasterChef on top in total people and key demos. The Voice ranking second in total people and Big Brother second in key younger audiences.

10’s line up also saw Have You Been Paying Attention rank second ahead of Big Brother in demos while The Project also made the top 5 in all groups. The Voice ranked 6th in 25-54.

BB rose from last Monday largely at the expense of HYBPA which slipped below 800,000.

Seven will be pleased where BB has landed. it’s the most demo friendly show they have had in quite a while.

It’s not like they compete in the same timeslot, no?

They do for around 25-30 minutes.

Really strong figures for The Project at 7pm. I wonder if the extra ad breaks during the 6:30-7:00 slot is the reason for the lower figures in that slot. A bit of an increase on last week.

Big Brother was also quite successful last night. Competitive in the demos and up on last week.

MFTHF did reasonably well for a repeat and against strong competition, also later in the night.

Still going great guns!

Nine having four multichannels (which all are performing okay-ish) really helps them eke out victories on tight nights

Lucky to have the extra channel advantage.

“Okay-ish” would even be generous. Don’t know what’s happened to particularly 9Go! but Nine’s multi-channels this year, especially since coronavirus pulling a lot of 1% shares.

Seems to have gone to 10’s (Bold and Peach up) and ABC Comedy? 7Two and 7mate also still regularly on top.

A battle between 9Go!, 9Gem, 7flix, even 9Rush, SBS Viceland and World Movies on some nights to see who’s 1% can pip the other.

9Go is the #1 multi under 40, 2020 year to date
