Seven wins Monday as the only network with a reality franchise. Without The Block, Nine slips while 10’s line-up keeps the network above 20%. ABC was down three from last Monday.

Seven won in AFL territory while Nine topped Sydney and Brisbane. Seven narrowly won 25-54; 10 won 16-39.

SAS Australia was the top entertainment show recovering 80,000 from last week’s lows. Later, Have You Been Paying Attention? was on top, steady week-on-week.

The Project Barack Obama interview special did better than many of 10’s other 7.30 offerings. Nine’s Gold Coast Cops finished fourth at 7:30.

For ABC, Australian Story did well, but 4 Corners replacement In The Face of Terror dragged down the rest of the schedule.

SAS didn’t benefit much from the absence of The Block, posting a small increase.

Looks like the demand for news is slowing down, with both Seven and Nine failing to crack 1 million in the 6-7pm slot for their news.

Outside the top 20 included

21 THE ROOKIE
22 Q+A-LE
24 THE PROJECT 6.30PM
26 JUST FOR LAUGHS
27 M: SKYFALL
28 THE ROOKIE-EP.2

From Nine:

9News was the No.1 program of the night in Brisbane and the No.2 program of the night across the East Coast and in Sydney.

9News 6.30 was the No.1 program of the night across the East Coast and in Sydney and the No.2 program of the night in Brisbane.

A Current Affair claimed its 7pm timeslot across the East Coast and in Sydney and Brisbane.

From 10:

Channel 10:

  • #1 channel in 25 to 54s and 18 to 49s.
  • #2 channel in under 50s and 16 to 39s

Have You Been Paying Attention?:

  • #1 show in 25 to 54s and 18 to 49s. #2 in 16 to 39s and under 50s.
  • #1 across its timeslot.
  • #1 across its timeslot in under 50 and all key demos.

The Project 7pm:

  • #1 across its timeslot in under 50s and all key demos.

The Project Special: Barack Obama The Interview:

  • #2 across its timeslot in all key demos .

10 News First:

  • #1 across its timeslot in 25 to 54s, 18 to 49s and under 50s.

10 Bold:

  • #1 multi-channel.

But managed a win in demos. I think seven will be really happy it managed to get it to air.

Seven enjoyed a rare Monday Win thanks to SAS Australia. Without The Block last night, Nine languished to 4th place in its 7:30pm timeslot.
Hybpa is steady week by week. With HYBPA Finale coming next week, this show will require a boost in numbers.

Without the high lead-in, the Bond movie (arguably the biggest and best since The Spy Who Loved Me or Goldfinger) took a hit compared to last week’s arguably forgettable Quantum of Solace.

Without The Block Nine falls behind Seven, as expected.

Looks like Nine would really benefit from another reality franchise after The Block next year. Though considering they’re already in pole position tow in next year they probably won’t bother.

Here in Adelaide, 7, 9 & 10 all had special News bulletins 3pm-4pm. Then at 8:30pm there was another 7 News hour.

out of interest, who hosted 10’s? Jennifer Keyte?
(couldn’t see anything on the 10 News threads)

I watched Ch9 the whole hour. I flicked to 7/10 for a few seconds, every channel was the same press conference with our Premier Steve Marshall.
Ch9 3:00-3:10 Tipping Point.
3:10 BREAKING NEWS, they cut to the press conference.
3:55 Kate Collins debriefed for a minute.
3:56-4:00 Tipping Point ending, lady won £10k.
4:00 Millionaire Hot Seat.

Funny how Seven News Melbourne has managed to beat Nine News Melbourne across the hour.

I don’t think Nine find it funny!

Would 7 be happy with the Housos 2020 numbers over on 7mate? I know its in the top 20, but i expected slightly better numbers.
