Numbers were back to normal on Monday night with Nine’s winning margin stretched to over 10. 10 improved on its usual numbers while Seven lost share. Nine won four markets with Seven winning Perth again. Nine easily won the key demos with 10 second well ahead of Seven.

No show was above one million last night with Married at First Sight the best performer on 979,000. Under Investigation that followed (incorrectly labelled an encore) settled to 530,000. Over on 10, The Amazing Race was the network’s best performer just under 500k.

Australian Story and Four Corners were among top performers for ABC though significantly lower than some recent results.

Seven’s royal programming missed the top 20 in both total people and key demos and in every market. US dramas that followed were decimated. Flashpoint in Perth also outside the top 20.

Horror night for Seven, it is basically marking time until Dancing with the Stars or Big Brother starts after Easter. However, 7flix’s overnight share was higher than last Monday thanks to Ultimate Tag.

Four Corners did well considering the topic for this week’s episode was not revealed until 6pm AEDT yesterday.

Seven News Melbourne probably quite happy with the results there.
Seven News Brisbane, while losing the first half hour to Nine QLD, won back in the last 30 minutes.
ACA had quite a win over ABC News NSW.

Enough with the Royal Specials please.

Under Investigation is rating well for Nine - especially for a 60-minute-long-show that started at 9.10pm. Shows people want to watch some tv after the reality/factual offerings… if the right content is there.

Bad news. More next Monday on 7…

Haha poor 7. Nothing seems to be working for them, only their 6pm news. It’s weird. People watch Seven News, and then switch to Channel 9 for the rest of the night.

Why is Seven News so dominate when they don’t even have good shows on after?

Probably Sunrise & 7 News brand is strong. People like the content.

a little late here, but did Studio 10 get a boost for Monday, as it was a lead in for the Grammy Awards (which followed)
