The finale of The Masked Singer helped 10 to its best share in two months and saw the main channel narrowly take out the number one position. Nine ranked first in network shares with Seven slipping to third.

Nine won the east coast with Seven ahead in Adelaide and Perth. 10 ranked second in all markets except Perth. 10 easily won the key demographic groups.

The Masked Singer had 1 million viewers for the program rising to 1.2 million for the reveal. That compares to 1.05 and 1.37 for last year’s final.

The Block was unaffected by the increased competition but Plate of Origin lost even more viewers to slip out of the top 20 to a season low. Have You Been Paying Attention was even with last week while Celebrity IOU continued did ok for Nine.

Nationally, the 10 News First number was on a par with the previous Monday.

The Masked Singer finale did very well but was edged out by The Block in Brisbane.

Drunk History had a low debut, maybe it’s because of the 9.45pm timeslot? (Drunk History and The Secrets She Keeps had been available on 10 Play for months before their TV broadcast, but The Secrets She Keeps had a better reception)

The Chase Australia celebrated five years on air with a timeslot win over Hot Seat.

So, week on week, no change to 10 News figures for Brissie and Perth (despite the changes), but a dip for Adelaide

Plate Of Origin is outside the Top 20. I don’t think Seven would be happy with that…

A dip to 81,000 for ABW-2 with Pamela Medlen replacing James McHale on the 7pm news. Usually ABC in Perth rates about 100,000 most nights to run 2nd to Channel 7.

Great result for The Masked Singer to be over 1million for the entire episode. It gave HYBPA a boost too.

Plate of Origin is completely dead. Seven would be performing better with some of their factual filler shows.

Great result for TMS grand final, 10 would he ecstatic.

Very close results in the multi-channel key demos, with just ~1k-5k seperating the Top 5 programs from SBS Viceland, 10 Peach, 9Go!, 9Life and 7Flix.

Ratings: Unmasking tops Monday ratings

P.O.O had 342,000. In 25-54 it ranked 20th. Drunk History was 15th.

A Current Affair was a timeslot winner in Brisbane.

Hot Seat won the game show battle across the East Coast and in Sydney and Melbourne.

The Big Bang Theory starting on 10 Peach last night didn’t provide any wins for the channel, looks to be a fairly low share last night with only Neighbours (barely) making it into the top 20 and 2/3 demos.

Great ratings for The Masked Singer grand finale. Poo ratings for Plate of Origin semi final. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Is there anyone left in the country who hasn’t seen every episode of this series yet? (the earlier seasons at least).

I don’t think I’ve been able to sit through a whole episode…ever. Does that count? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Good ratings for Masked singer

The three episodes of the Big Bang on 10 Peach easily outrated the 9Go 7pm episode.

Although the Masked Singer Final reveal was down from last year, it still topped Number 1 show of the night, and Number 1 show in terms of young demographics (25-54, 18-49, and 16-39). CHannel 10 ranked Number 1 in primary channel.
I think Channel 10 is desperate to gain momentum during the 2nd half of the year. They have The Bachelorette, Junior Masterchef, The Amazing Race as well as the Melbourne Cup.

A good win for Ten, thanks to The Masked Singer. Seven’s Plates of Origin, well, not so great.

Studio 10 seems up. What time is its “Studio 10 Extra” segment? 11am-12pm hour?

SBS’s US Open Men’s Final did well, compared to the world news that airs in those slots with 0-2,000 watching.

I have never understood the timeslot ratings breakdowns for Studio 10…it used to be 8:30- 9:30 when it first started I think, then it expanded 11-12…and then 8:00 to 8:30…
Is there 2 or 3 figures reported?

But how did the Only Remaining Adelaide Produced Afternoon News Bulletin Nine Live Adelaide rate in it’s Home City?

On the tvtonight website, they report it as 3 segments. Am not sure of the current breakdowns though.

I also remember when it first started, the 8.30-9.30 was coded. That hour rated low, and the rating went up for the next few hours.
