10s best Monday share in total people delivered thanks to the return of Have You Been Paying Attention? (HYBPA had 807,000 for last year’s first episode). Also good demos ranking second ahead of Seven. The three reality shows all up slightly from the previous Monday.

Celebrity Name Game doesn’t make the top 20 (who expected it would?) but the key demo results weren’t bad – in 25-54 it had double what a Monday episode of Pointless was getting and in total people rated 100k higher (that’s 50%).

Despite Lego Masters’ 7.30 dominance, Seven remains competitive as Nine’s 8.45 pm programming lets them down. 20 to One was 4th in that timeslot.

HYBPA season premiere rated very well against Lego Masters.
Lego Masters will become the first program this year to pull one million viewers for every episode. The recent season of Married at First Sight dropped below the million mark once (episode 2) before embarking on its record breaking run.

#4

Again why bother watching name game live. It’s got about 5 showings per episode throughout the week.
When will the similcasts start?

HYBPA did very well.

Terrific result for 10 with HYBPA!

Outside the top 20: 20 to One ranked 21st, Celebrity Name Game 26th and Mr Black Encore 29th.

The Project got a boost from a higher 6pm result. 10 News Brisbane continued its good run and with Georgina Lewis back had its highest result in a year.

Re:House Rules, it seems that the viewers prefer the Judges Reveal’ as opposed to the ‘Early Reveal’ and ‘Homeowners Reveal’. Personally, I prefer to do without the Early Reveal’ as it feels like a spoiler alert. Maybe cut it down to 2 reno episodes and one supersize reveal. Given the fatigue of the show, maybe less is more.

I heard the radio advertising for House Rules and was interested in watching the reveal episodes. I do the same with the The Block- watch the reveal and pass on all the manufactured drama and product placement. I recorded Sunday’s HR “reveal” episode but haven’t watch it yet. If they’ve taken to playing silly games by labelling multiple episodes as “reveal” then I won’t be bothering with any of it.

Agree. The Early Reveal has spoilt the interest of the reveal. I agree that three episodes would be better but I’d suggest one Reno episode and the rest as they are Reno/Judge’s Reveal and Homeowner’s Reveal.

#11

The Brisbane figures for Attention were quite weak. Obviously a market they need to work on.

Overall good result for 10.

The fact that HYBPA has seemingly bucked the trend of shows on 10 underperforming this year demonstrates how ‘strong’ the show has become

It is also down on last years first episode though so it hasn’t really ‘bucked’ the trend. Just isn’t as bad as other programs.

Adnews is reporting the national ratings for Celebrity Name Game, which indicates there was very few people watching in WIN areas.

#15

It is shown on WIN Peach in WIN areas that have WIN News at 6pm.

#16

Does that mean Win Peach will get an hour of Name Game? The 5:30 encore followed by new episode?

#17

I know. I watched it on WIN Peach last night. One of the few that did.

That’s a good start. Shows like this can take time.

#19

10 either need five game shows to avoid franchise fatigue - or something… but what… to fire at 6. It’s dragging the entire night down.

Simpsons? Project? National evening news?

#20

My suggestion before has been to just extend the 5:00pm news to 6:30pm. No separate program.
