Nine continued its Monday winning streak with its 5th straight win. 10 was up one share point and recorded its highest Monday share of the survey while Seven and Nine were steady. In a familiar pattern Nine won along the east coast with Seven winning in Adelaide and Perth. 10 ranked second in Melbourne (and along the east coast) and won the three younger demographic groups.

MasterChef was up 80,000 from the previous week to the show’s best audience since April. The Voice was down 40,000 and just managed to edge out Big Brother that lifted 60,000 from the previous Monday.

Have You Been Paying Attention? again dominated the 8:45/9:00 timeslot lifting to its highest audience in eight weeks. Next best was Nine’s Beatles special.

For ABC, Back Roads was steady, but Four Corners posted a season low. However, later Julia Gillard’s appearance on Q+A was well up and made the top 20.

MasterChef went back above the million mark as finals week got under way. It and HYBPA pushed 10 to within 0.4% in primary shares.
Nine won the night thanks to The Voice and The Beatles special. I reckon the latter will do pretty well in timeshifting (I recorded it on my PVR and will watch it this weekend). Nine News did very well in Melbourne - first time since April IIRC it held above 400,000 for the entire hour.

Massive audience for MC, including more than 400k in Melbourne making it No. 1 program in that market (even ahead of both Nine News half hours which were also north of 400k each).

The Beatles special did really well after 9:30pm.

I don’t get why 10 Bold’s share is only 3-ish percent when they had a massive 200k for NCIS followed by another big audience over 170k? I know that’s not exactly how it works, but Bold has been closer to or over 4% nearly every night.
Multi-channels seem lower the past two nights.

Because big audiences of 1 million on main channels and big late night audiences last night on main channels were bold was obviously under 130k

That MC audience in Melbourne also beats all recent AFL results including the Friday >400k 2 weeks ago I believe.

What a powerhouse revival for the resurgent Network 10 MC is this year across the country (although Perth could be stronger).

MasterChef looks like it’s getting a bit of traction as it builds up to the Grand Final.

The Voice numbers aren’t great. The problem with the show is that there are too many contestants. To still have 20 contestants remaining in the shows the week before the Grand final is just ridiculous. Then they suddenly just cull at a rapid rate. It does not give audiences the chance to connect with artist or contestants.

10 will fall in a heap without masterchef. Bachelor in paradise and whatever other crap they’ll have won’t rate.

Yeah Bachelor franchise and Masked Singer flopped last year…

Paradise normally does average compared to its big brother. I actually think this one might bomb badly. The stuff is worse than Married.

So it could be the number 2 show in the country behind MAFS.

Haha as bad as MAFS is, we can’t hide the fact that it’s a consistent ratings winner. Paradise on the other hand hovers around 600-700k if I recall correctly - it’s more of a companion show for the Bachelor franchise viewers and doesn’t rate that well

I dont think it will be massive but I think it will do decent numbers in demos and beat Farmer wants a wife or whatever Seven are putting on after BB ends. If it remains on Wed/Thurs it might do well as Ten seem to when they air shows like this later in the week.

What was Neighbours ratings? @TV.Cynic

I was wondering what happened too. Seems strange that Neighbours failed to make the top 20 on this day when it usually does well on Mondays (usually 135,000 to 145,000) and did not appear in the 7 Days figures either. Was there a coding error @TV.Cynic ?

It ranked 22nd in the multichannel list.
