Mock Schedules

They already are thrashed. 10 should forget this trial and finally air it consistently 7 nights a week.

I reckon an Australian chat show on a Friday night would Be fantastic for 10. This is similar to Graham Norton show which runs for one hour. Maybe Osher Gunsberg or Grant Denyer will host a chat show.

I would probably choose a fresh talent rather than one of those two.

I agree with this, but I would like to see them do it slightly differently.

6 am to 8 am
Studio 10: Early
Panellists - Natasha Belling, Narelda Jacobs, Dr Andrew Rockford.
Heavier news focus.

8 am to 11 am
Studio 10
Regular Panellists.

11am - Midday
10 News First from Melbourne with Natasha Exelby

Let it bed down during this unfortunate period. They have the talent which they cycle through for the main Studio 10 program anyway.

I would also look to bringing in 10 News Local Late Editions at 9:30 every night.

Plus move to 6pm bulletins on weekends, along with The Project on Saturdays.

Now is the time. Don’t be slow to act like our government.

A 6am-8am: Studio 10 Early would mean that it will replace encores of shows.
Between 12-5pm - It will be normal arvo programming (although Judge Judy show will end in 2021).

I think a 6pm weekend bulletin will be ideal as well as a Saturday Project bulletin will be good. A Saturday project bulletin will probably be in Sydney studios. With the new Saturday lienup, it will replace Bondi Rescue repeats.

Covid-19 affected 10 schedule for the rest of this year:

April-June
7:30 Masterchef
8:30 The Project: Special
9:00 Graham Norton, Have You Been Paying Attention, NCIS, Bachelor in Paradise

June-August
7:30 Thank God You’re Here, Recipe to Riches (Monday-Tuesday), The Bachelor

August-September
7:30 Come Dine With Me Australia

October-November
7:30 I’m A Celebrity Get Me Outta Here

THEN in 2021 I would completely change the schedule as followed:

January - The Circle
February - March Survivor + The Amazing Race
April - May - Dancing with the Stars + Ambulance Australia + One Born Every Minute + The Bachelorette
May - June - The Masked Singer (Sunday/Monday) + Masterchef Australia (Tuesday-Thursday)
June-July - Bachelor in Paradise (Sunday/Monday) + Masterchef Australia (Tuesday-Thursday)
August-October Survivor Australia + The Bachelor
October-November I’m a Celebrity Get Me Outta Here
December Come Dine with Me Australia

As much as I don’t watch Thank God youre here, it would Be nice to revive this show on 10. That way it will be great for light entertainment in a 7:30pm timeslot.
Season 12 of Gogglebox. When will s12 of gogglebox Australia return?

another idea how 10 can structure next year:

JANUARY - The Circle
FEBRUARY-MARCH - Survivor + The Amazing Race
APRIL-MAY - Dancing with the Stars + Ambulance Australia + Thank God You’re Here + The Bachelorette
May - June The Masked Singer + Shark Tank + Fire Patrol
June - September - Masterchef Australia + Bachelor in Paradise
September - October - Survivor Australia + The Bachelor
November - December - I’m A Celebrity + Come Dine with Me (8:30)

Here’s my take on 10 at 7.30

January - I’m a Celebrity (it does quite well)
February-April - Survivor + Hunted Australia
April-May - The Circle + Bachelor in Paradise
May-July - Masterchef
July-September - Dancing with the Stars + Shark Tank then Masked Singer + The Bachelor
September-November/Early December - Lip Sync Battle/Come Sing with Me (just for a bit of difference) + Masked Singer then Amazing Race + The Bachelorette
December-January - Come Dine with me + Special programming from each program.

Fridays - The Living Room + Graham Norton at 8.30
Saturdays - 48 Hours Australia

I think having The Circle in January will be a good start to 2021 on TEN. It may run for about 4-5 weeks. Channel 10 will need a new presenter to host the show. I think that Lisa Wilkinson may host The Circle.

Just not a fan of having two celebrity shows together and shark tank with DWTS. I think it would be better with something with a similar audience.

I am also not a fan of lip sync battle. It was just so cheap and nasty.

MY NETWORK 10 IN 2021
Ideally I would move I’m a celebrity to August in 2020 and have it around there again in 2021 but I don’t think 10 would do that so I am counting for it staying there in 2021. But putting The Masked Singer just before Christmas gives 10 the momentum leading into 2022. Also I strategically launched Come Dine With Me to eventually put in the 7:30 slot if Survivor gets a bit repetitive or Masterchef fizzles out. Also having a cooking show before Christmas will get the advertisers in.

Having Australian Survivor premiering on the 8 Feb 2021 will be a very good start to the 2021 ratings season. That way 10 will gain momentum in terms of young demos.
Having The Masked Singer starting from Mid-October will be very good. That way Channel 10 will start to boost their primetime share during the final quarter of 2021. Channel 10 will be desperately need to be more competitive against Seven and Nine.
I think a cooking show before Xmas will be good. Can it be like a lifestyle or like a competition show (similar to Ready Steady Cook)?

Channel 10 had Masked Singer Q4 2019 and Survivor Q1 2020 as you suggested. Im not seeing the ratings you suggest would come if it were replicated 2020/2021

But the thing is that The production for season 2 of masked singer has been delayed due to Coronavirus. I can’t see it happening anytime soon.
