Ten has in the last few years put all their eggs in one basket. 100 episodes is between 20 weeks and 25 weeks of shows, so it still opens up possibilities beyond that point re failure vs success

Hi everyone - New member here. 
Yes, they pretty much had to invest money into a new set because the old one got torn apart. In fact, the last parts of it were taken care of as late as July of this year. Still no leaks of the full set though, so I guess thatâs a bit irritating.
Iâm looking forward to Tenâs take and I actually think itâll be better than the last few years of the original run.

Whilist waiting for 10 revealing the set, I manage to find one of the episode of Italy Hot Seat, it was called âEdizione Straordinariaâ or in English, itâs Special Edition, it was very rare to find given most of the link are dead, so I consider this a rare gem, also I am still not familiar with this so if I broke any rules, let me know

I went along today in the audience and quite enjoyed it! New shiny modern set - the host Rebecca was also really nice and welcoming. I thought she was very good at presenting the show - chatting away to the crowd during the breaks
They donât play fastest finger first anymore - just straight into the hotseat after the contestant introductions. It feels different without Eddie but I think itâs a nice shakeup. I donât recall seeing a âthrowâ to the news break so it must be going to be airing a different time of day. I wish Ch10 well with it all

The only reason that was ever introduced was to pad out time when Nine extended duration to an hour.
It normally has no place in this format.

Straight into the game is better. As mentioned above, the âfastest fingerâ segment was only there to pad it out for the one-hour slot by Nine.
Definitely wont be before the 5pm News. Bold and the Beautiful isnât going anywhere anytime soon. It will be scheduled weekdays at one of these 3 slots: 6pm, 6.30pm or 7pm. Depending on 10News+ is still there in 2026.

Based on how long an episodeâs recording went, did it feel like a 30 minute format?

If you need a comparison, the US syndicated version of the normal edition cranked out five episodes a day.
They had two sessions that start at 11.30am (recommended 10am arrival) and 4pm (3pm) local time over the course of five months (June-Oct).
And 30 minutes broadcast duration.
Ring any bells?
Yeah Iâd probably say half an hour show in duration. Definitely felt shorter. They got through the questions pretty quickly
I had so much fun!
Might go back in for another few episodes next week - itâs my favourite game show the Hotseat!

What I would do is to put it at 6:00pm and separate it from 10 News and + (which then gets reduced to half an hour), or they could swap them around and have + at 6 then Hot Seat at 6:30. Thatâs just my opinion.
