Last night was the show’s third highest rated with 382,000. It was only behind ep 1 that had 481,000 and ep2 on 386,000.
On the equivalent day last year The Project had 398,000, however that was across its hour. Last night Deal OND had 182,000 to make the average for the hour 255,000. The bigger problem though was the lead in of just 162,000 from 10 News+. Last year DOND had 291,000 at 6pm.

Tonight’s Airing of Millionaire Hotseat with Actress Rebecca Gibney Featured University Lecturer Dave Tresize from Queensland who Once First Appeared on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire on Monday the 7th of November in 2005 with Eddie McGuire (The 2nd Last Regular Show for 2005), he then Next Appeared on Millionaire Hot Seat on Tuesday the 23rd of August in 2016 where he Answered 12 Questions Correctly, but an Incorrect Answer on the $100,000 Question paved the way for Partnerships Educator and Full-Time Mum Anna Owens from (Pascoe Vale South, Victoria) to Win $250,000.
But Tonight’s Episode Saw Dave Tresize Needing to Get at Least 3 Correct Answers to Win $100,000 and Dave Tresize got what he Deserved for Correctly Answering Joan Sutherland who Became the Very First Australian of the Year when it was First Introduced in 1960.

Probably a dumb question but…
Tonight there was one person left and he had 2 questions left for the $10k. He had the $6k question to get right then could have played for the $10k. Fortunately he got the second last question right so could play for the $10k (and won).
I was just curious to know what would happen if he got the second last question wrong. There was no other players left for the final question. Is that just the end of the show with no final question asked or what happens?
I watch the Rebecca series almost every night and I have never seen this occur yet, hence why I asked
Yes, as the last person remaining they still win the $1,000 and there is no $10k question.

Saw a new promo on 10 Drama tonight that the series had given away $2,064,000 in cash.

A tad over $2m is a pretty good giveaway so far this year.
Curiously, are the ratings for the show okay? I know that its getting over 300k on Mondays, and over 200k for Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays (Fridays repeats are hit and miss). Are these figures a “pass” in 10’s standards?

Tuesdays was also regularly getting 300k, while Wednesday depended on if it was a repeat of not.
The average is down a bit on 2 weeks ago 298 v 275, I reckon people feel duped tuning in midweek and get a repeat episode and start moving their viewing habits elsewhere. For example this week, it took adding all the ratings of Mon to Thurs, just to match Home and Away on Monday.

Not sure where to put it, but Nine has been uploading old episodes of Classic Millionaire on their official YouTube channel. Considering those are the master tapes, it is fair to say it’s official.

It could be ITV studios uploading it though - however I see the the featured shows are all NINE shows. It says 1 video available, but nothing there yet.
From 1999 to 2001 the Australian version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire was a Grundy Television Production for the Nine Network Australia in 2002 it became a in house production by Channel Nine from 2007 it’s currently owned by 2WayTraffic which is now owned by Sony.

I managed to save the videos before it got privated. From what I remember, they upload the first 2 episodes of series 1, no Fastest Finger First segments sadly, just full run. Unsure why it was privated, but hopefully Nine will upload actual full episodes instead of individual runs.
