That’s why I put the males in. I’d say something about holes and goals… :stuck_out_tongue:

Love reacts only for Ansett (Absolutely)

Ansett. Those were the days. How things would be different today if they didn’t collapse.

Would VA still be a budget airline or would they still transform themselves to a full service carrier so Australia would’ve had three full service airlines? Would both JQ and TT be around? Would AN still be around if they didn’t collapse?

There’s so many questions.

I think Ansett would have attempted to transition into a budget airline. First they’d cut the free in-flight food, and so on…

Do you think it is okay for Avengers: Infinity War to be released on Anzac Day?

Yes, but out of respect, cinemas should open after midday like most businesses do.

?

This happens?
Nothing opens at all around here on ANZAC Day

In Victoria trading is banned before 1pm. Cinemas included by the looks of session times.

Around Sydney, you get a few cafes that open in the mornings but the majority of businesses are closed until 1pm and many take the whole day off.

Don’t they?

I think even Crown Casino shuts on ANZAC Day morning

Event Cinemas are opening early this year for the premiere of Avengers: Infinity War with screenings from 9am. That’s why there’s a controversy. Veterans are slamming cinemas for releasing it a day early to cash in on the ANZAC Day public holiday.

But isn’t it to coincide with the international release?

It is showing in Melbourne cinemas on ANZAC Day but not before 1.00pm.

So judging by Karl’s rant I guess we will expect Channel 9 to be off-air on ANZAC Day

Movies usually get released on a Thursday in Australia and on a Friday in America.

Avengers: Infinity War was scheduled for Thursday 26 April 2018 in Australia and Friday 27 April 2018 in America (although Los Angeles gets the world premiere on 23 April 2018). The Australian release date was moved to Anzac Day this week.

OK my mistake I thought it was moved to the Wednesday to sync with international release.

But, whatevs.

Yeah, I don’t think it’s a big deal about the date but I think out of respect, all businesses should not open before midday.

In Victoria they generally don’t AFAIK.

It’s slowly being eroded. Just like businesses being allowed to open Boxing Day now and more opening at Christmas and Easter.

So we effectively get the movies 2 days before USA when you factor in time differences.

Not every movie gets released in Australia first though. It’s usually just the blockbusters. Usually we get them a week or a few weeks later.
