… I remember hearing Johnny Young on pirate radio station Radio London before emigrating to Oz in 1967 where I met him while floor-managing the TV pop show “In Time” on SAS10 in Adelaide … how sad that another bright star from that time has left us …

I watched her in one of the Scream re-boot movies only a couple of years back, reprising her role from Scream 4 in 2011. And yes Heroes and Nashville. And was a child star years before that too. How tragic, RIP.

I remember Hayden from her role in Heroes. She died way too young.

Some might recall it was one of the biggest shows on Australian TV for ‘Seven in 07’, even though that was short lived, recall the peak (5 City Metro broadcast) went up towards 2m and their 16-39s skyrocketed, heavily promoted throughout the summer of tennis which included Roger Federer winning the Aus Open final with mid-2m. As a side note, Sunrise also re-launched the following morning.

Seven were pulling in dominating shares along with the likes of the re-booted Kath & Kim (which went huge) and Ugly Betty while Desperate Housewives and Lost were still drawing viewers, along with the rest of Channel 7’s regular programming plus they’d just got the AFL back. It finally, properly put an end to Nine’s long reign of being outright No. 1.
