There was a media embargo on the wedding which was lifted at 5.30pm AEDT today. 7News showed some of the guests including his federal cabinet ministers going into The Lodge.

So I think the wedding took place this morning.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has wed his longtime partner Jodie Haydon in a spring wedding at his official residence, the Lodge.

A huge cheer was heard around 4:20pm from guests at the wedding in Canberra.

Around 4:45 pm the sounds of Stevie Wonder’s 1970 hit Signed, Sealed, Delivered, (I’m Yours) could be heard outside the Lodge.

Former Essendon captain Jobe Watson finally tied the knot with fiance Virginia Slaghekke on the Sunshine Coast on Friday, eight months after their planned wedding was called off due to Cyclone Alfred.

According to Sunday Herald Sun’s Fiona Byrne, the wedding at Malena Manor was attended by families, friends and some of Jobe’s former teammates, including Thomas Bellchambers and wife Olympia Valance.
