Ben is one to watch now ,he’s a chance for the title this season. I can picture him in high- viz work gear since he’s a builder by trade, another typical Aussie bloke like Pete from last season
so who went home last night? I missed it.
Lisa.
After Sarah failed to include a main element of the dish (again) they said Lisa’s wasn’t balanced enough flavour wise.
Oh yeah Sarah is a favourite, so is Ben, Chloe and Reece.
Shannon has said that MasterChef history would be created sometime during this season, and it happened tonight with Sashi becoming the first contestant to hold two immunity pins at the same time. He won his second pin by beating Shannon’s former protege Andy Harmer in the immunity challenge. In season 3, Dani Venn won immunity pin on two different occasions (week 10 and week 12) but used her first pin in week 10.
How come there’s been so many immunity pins given out this season?I’ve been wondering about the footwear the contestants are given to wear, are they some kind of safety shoe or just black jogging shoes ? I wear similar shoes to work everyday
Special team challenge episode tonight honouring the firefighters from Victoria’s Country Fire Authority.

They are safety shoes, sponsored by Cougar Footwear of Coburg North.
They look like black crocs
Interestingly Sarah (clear favourite with the judges and continually being saved when she shouldn’t) is in an elimination AGAIN tonight.
Some reports have been published about which eliminated contestant returns to the competition. Some reports have been taken down so I think it might be an breach of embargoed information and if so potentially ruining the show for many viewers. Don’t Google this if you don’t want to know!
Hoping Brendan makes it back in.
The premise of tonight’s episode is that a contestant from last night’s losing team would be eliminated after a world cuisine cooking challenge, then he or she would cook against these 12 previously eliminated contestants to return to the competition. I think it’s a clever idea by the producers to hold the second chance cookoff straight after an elimination; in previous years the second chance cookoff was a standalone episode replacing an immunity challenge.
Ooh, Zumbo’s just desserts has returned!
Promo for Royal Week aired tonight during Body Hack. I think it will air the week after next (Sweet Week). The highlight of Royal Week is of course a cooking challenge at Royal Flying Doctor Service in Darwin, making canapes for Prince Charles and other guests.
Also saw this earlier this week:
I’m happy that Brendan has returned to the competition
Unfortunately TV Week spoiled the ending by posting this article this morning
He was eliminated from MasterChef after an undercooked steak proved to be a costly mis-steak.
But now Brendan Pang has returned to the competition, after being handed a second chance.
But was saving Ben the right choice?
Yes. Ben is a really good cook and is more versatile than Aldo.
Definitely Chloe.
Nah only Queensland networks bother with the “Queensland’s own” promo rubbish every chance they get.
