I flicked to KIIS briefly this morning and they were playing Kyle & Jackie O best bits with a live announcer in between as well. So I assume it must have been the same last week and they’ve taken a call from Tweedie.

Not sure they were playing K&J best bits last week. Pretty sure 97.3 was taking the KIIS Sydney feed 24/7 since a little bit before Christmas and I didn’t hear any K&J bits aired during that period, including last week.
As of this morning they’ve returned to a local feed during breakfast with Robin & Kip with Corey Oates best bits with Drew announcing and then Gordie doing the 90s at 9am, so I assume they’ve done the same with K&J best bits in Syd/Melb and an announcer down there (without the 90s at 9 bit).

I know I said in my earlier comment that this is probably ARN’s best artwork yet for outside of Sydney… But in saying that, why can’t Brisbane & Adelaide get the same assets as Sydney?
I.e. why can’t KIIS97.3 and Mix102.3 breakfast shows be promoted using the same styles and font types as what K&J get?

read the article, it says a number of the complaints are about the event potentially not following CASA safety protocols, which includes rules about dropping objects from active aircraft, and the risk to innocent passers by or motorists caused by a mass of tennis balls being flung around potentially causing accidents.
