I personally think they’re grooming him to eventually replace KJ. He’s only 27 and they’ve recently given him a cohost on the nights show after presenting alone for 2 years.

My guess is that because there is usually a 5am - 6am show for the early rising tradies before KJ and maybe to keep a part of that “early tradies” time before 6am going they just get Mitch to start at 5:30am and because its survey break he finishes at 9am like most other breakfast shows (or best off’s as they are at the moment).
That’s just how I see it, I could be wrong

It’s been like that at times. They’ve had specials listed there from time to time. That’s just the default text when there’s nothing to list.

96FM remains part of the Kiis network. I guess from a business point of view, makes no sense to move it to Gold. More advertising revenue from Will & Woody and K&J.
