Google are serving lots of junk ads to the site, the copy appears to be scams and fake news e.g. Australian’s have lost…

In the style of those Andrew Forrest, Gina Rinehart scams on Facebook heralding their disease or death.

Google will generally serves ads based on the profile it has of your interests (if you are signed in to Google on your browser).
The only way those ads will disappear is if users report them to Google (press the “X”, then press “stop seeing this ad”, or alternatively press the “why this ad” and scroll to the “ad feedback form” link).

The site has no control over what ads Google serves to end users.
