Pre-Christmas is phase 1 and now they’re back for phase 2?
Are they working around Rob’s schedule?
Robert’s social media post earlier (8 hours ago) said that they took 1 week break from filming and was resuming again now.
“I’ve had a week off filming, I’m about to go back on set”
Which was the Christmas-NYD period, wasn’t it? I think that’s understandable.
How does that even work? A one week break? Maybe they filmed all the celebrities before Xmas and now doing all the studio bits?

That’s my guessing too. Celebrities before Christmas. And post-production this week - including editing, and filming some studio bits from Rob and Julia?

I agree. I don’t know much about how the costs work but I feel it wouldn’t have been much cheaper doing it this way.
Unless they sent all the celebrities home for Christmas and brought them back into the jungle? That would be truly bizarre if that’s what they’ve done
Especially since they’re pre-recording to save costs and condense the filming days. So flying everyone home for Christmas and back again is probably no cheaper than just doing it live!
So I’m guessing this week is just Rob & Julia filming all the treehouse links. Probably works better this way, they have all the camp footage and know in advance what happens in camp from start to finish. So Rob & Julia’s intros can tell the story they want to tell from the beginning.

This makes the most sense. It was likely a much shorter and tighter season than usual (done in 2-3 weeks) so it wouldn’t surprise me if they jumped straight into filming the season as soon as Rob arrived. So potentially have left a lot of the pre/post production and a lot of the studio stuff to film now.

They wouldn’t do that. Would be 0 sense to the cost cutting they were trying to achieve.

Hollywood sitcom star clue mentions ‘when he meets a bunch of our jungle friends he’ll go off with a big bang’. Perhaps this is Kevin Sussman who played Stuart Bloom on TBBT. He’s not one of the seven main characters but Stuart has been on the show for many years and will star in the upcoming sequel ‘Stuart Fails to Save the Universe’.

Looks like filming is finished with I’m a Celebrity Get me out of Here since Robert is back home at Australia Zoo. Nothing was said about I’m a Celebrity though since this Interview aired on Nine and I’m a Celebrity airs on 10
