It has been predictable voting so far but doesn’t look good that all 5 eliminated have been females.
I really thought Max, Zak and Harrison might have gone earlier than some of the others.
I thought Zac would have left earlier, and maybe Harrison. Max has been entertaining enough to stay on (despite not hearing of him before the show). I was hoping that Sigrid would stay on a tad longer.
Sigrid was good and had great stories. I thought Geraldine would’ve left before her.
I have loved Geraldine on the show.
Sigrid was probably handicapped by her lack of social media followers that would be likely to vote.
Max will be in the last few remaining for sure. He has been very entertaining.
Zac has had so little airtime that it would make no difference if he left. He clearly has a footy support base keeping him there but i think he will be gone soon.
The Olympic swimmer went on to share that although the public is shown a highlight reel of all the fun moments in camp, the contestants are often “tired and exhausted”.
“You are in 40-degree heat, there are bugs everywhere, there’s baboons all over the place. You are literally in the South African jungle camping, and I was in there for 24 days,” she details.
“No electricity, you couldn’t even flush a goddamn toilet, you’re taking out the dunnies, you’re changing all the bin bags, you’re having rice and beans for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. You’re basically surviving each day and at the same time trying to put on an incredible show for the rest of Australia.”
Sigrid was great. I suspect she is one who was only contracted for a short time.
Poor Shayna, I’m sure they paid her enough for her jungle stay. Apart from her sooky fit when the camp split she was good value though.
Sigrid was so much better than I expected, gave it her all and seems very “down to earth” for someone who has had quite a bit of “fame”.
Surely one of the males will leave tonight!
Only a single elimination tonight. Two more celebrities will leave the camp tomorrow.
The Comedy King Packs His Crown.
Dave Hughes Farewells I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
There’ll be fewer LOLs in the jungle with Dave Hughes being the latest celeb to say his goodbyes to camp.
Arriving as one of the team captains this season, Hughesy bravely guided his group in their leaps of faith off the dam wall. During his time in camp, Hughesy sparked up bromances with his sporting heroes, made good use of the jungle gym, kept everyone giggling with the stories of his career in entertainment, and was dubbed ‘Guru Dave’ following his newfound appreciation of nature.
The laughs kept coming during his trial with Sam Thaiday where the pair were tied back-to-back and had to search for stars in a rotating room that turned completely upside down.
A staunch vegan, Hughesy brought the gags yet again when he ate meat for the first time in 15 years, hoovering down lamb tongue and boar penis in the stomach-flipping Grilling Me Softly tucker trial.
But it wasn’t all funny business for the comedian as Hughesy also opened up about his struggles with self-image and his three decades of sobriety. His time in the jungle was for a valiant cause, the Robert Connor Dawes Foundation.
“RCD Foundation raises funds for research into juvenile brain cancer,” Hughesy said. “I’ve been an ambassador for years. The founders lost their son in his teens. They work tirelessly to try to prevent other parents feeling this heartache.”

Monday To Thursday At 7.30pm And Sunday At 7pm On 10 And 10 Play.
Bit sick of Robert copying Julia’s gags. Definitely worse this season. Surely they can come up with his own ‘thing’. We don’t need two Julias. The only thing left for him to do is the ‘ dot auuuuuuuuuu’
It’s a shame because he seems like such a nice guy but he’s just too raw. I would have loved to have seen him as a contestant, he would have been brilliant and probably would have won a series.
Hughesy had a phone chat with Fifi, Fev and Nick on Fox this morning (Tuesday night in South Africa). Hughesy said that eating lamb tongue and boar penis at the tucker trial was a one-off for the benefit of the camp.
EDIT: the interview can be heard as part of the podcast
I should hope so.
And Then There Were Five.
Zach Tuohy and Harrison Reid Leave I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
Just like that, Zach Tuohy and Harrison Reid have been catapulted out of the camp and back into the real world, leaving five celebs in the jungle!
Zach’s time in the jungle was quite literally sink or swim as he battled multiple underwater trials, from crawling Under The Dam to singlehandedly tackling Celebrity Versus the Volcano.
Zach, Geraldine Hickey and Dave Hughes were a terrific trio across two trials, Build a Bridge and Get Over It, and the final eating trial of the season, Grillin’ Me Softly. Both times, the fearless three pushed past what they thought they could achieve, and brought home the stars for camp.
Sharing the highs and lows of his time in the AFL, Zach spoke about everything from the game’s intense training regime to the strain that can be put on athletes, as well as pre-game superstitions.
The introspective sports star also opened up about his family life and the early struggles that came with fatherhood. By sharing his experience with postpartum depression, he started an important conversation helping Aussie men going through similar struggles.
Zach’s time in the jungle was in support of HeartKids, the only Australian charity dedicated to providing support, resources and advocacy for the people impacted by childhood-onset heart disease (CoHD).
“One of my best mate’s sons had a heart condition at birth and I know they were great help to him,” Zach explained. “Him and his wife are great parents, and I know it was a tough time for them. They speak so highly of this organisation.”
Harrison was our first intruder to enter the camp, and in true hero style, he saved fellow campmate Tina Provis from a tank of freezing water. But a hero’s work is never done, and it wasn’t long before he was freeing Sigrid Thornton from the tracks of an oncoming train.
Harrison also had to hilariously tackle a truly tough eating trial, Block-Bug-Ster Video, with Tina, Sam Thaiday and Nicky Buckley as they gagged their way through some retch-worthy dishes and some even worse puns. And Harrison also got up-close and pie-sonal with some disgusting delicacies in a room full of flies and maggots during Lord of the Pies.
In camp, Harrison was loved by all, and the bachelor has some adoring fans waiting for him back home too! While the lifeguard used the time in camp to ponder romance and relationships, he also formed an immediate bromance with Matty J.
Harrison also used his time in the jungle to educate both the celebs and Aussies watching at home about lifesaving skills and the DRSABCD action plan. Harrison’s dedication to lifeguarding also extends to the charity he supported while in the jungle: Live Learn Survive.
“Live Learn Survive was started by fellow Lifeguard and fireman Trent ‘maxi’ Maxwell and Leigh [Mason] who so far have taught 34,000 kids how to survive on their worst day with fire, water and first aid training,” Harrison said.
“We have heard some amazing stories from kids and adults who have pulled people out of the water at home pools or at the beach and started doing CPR with no training, just because they have seen us do it on Bondi Rescue and have actually saved lives from this, this is a skill that should be taught everywhere.”

Thursday At 7.30pm And Sunday At 7pm On 10 And 10 Play.
Blue is not Robert’s colour. Stick to khaki
He’s not at work at the zoo.
The five remaining campmates took part in the tucker trial/quiz last night, joined by a refreshed Zach and Harrison in the audience. The celebrities could use Zach and Harrison’s knowledge in two of six categories.
