Don’t be so literal, Johnson.
He’s referring to every night the show is on-air, which regular viewers would know.
Trying to word that otherwise would be unnecessary and a mouthful.

The show has always pretended that the days they aren’t on air don’t exist in the jungle.
For example there should be 3 dinners between the Thursday and Sunday show, but we are only ever shown 1.
If I recall, in the early days of the show, they said something like however many stars they won on Thursday would carry over to the two meals on the days not shown.
I suspect that has changed now and they have a bit more leeway, but yeah, who knows what happens in particular.
I actually think she would have been more interesting than the MAFS person this year.
I don’t like Shayna but I did feel sorry for her when Geraldine & Reggie were gossiping and bitching about her cooking. Just tell her. Trying to save her feelings by having an in joke and moaning loudly around camp just comes across as bitchy.
Tina cracking the shits because she put effort into two tasks and came up empty. Give the girl a participation trophy asap.
I liked Geraldine so much in the beginning but I’m beginning to tire of her. From her not wanting to make a big deal about the snake to then making it a big deal, wanting to be non binary but only if she was ten years younger then her overreaction to the camp divide. Then the latest about her not getting stand up gigs because she’s a woman. It couldn’t possibly be because they were more funny, were easier to work with or had better connections. Nup, they just didn’t want Geraldine Hickey the female comedian to get the gigs. It came across pretty entitled that she automatically wrote their success off because of their gender.
I got whiplash from Julia’s annoyingly preachy soapbox moment. I kept waiting for her to make a joke, you know like she always does and is paid to do, but no we got the full bashing over the head, in your face rant. It’s fine if the contestants do it but I’m A Celeb is a stupid light weight reality show where hasbeens people with dwindling careers usually eat animal genitals and humiliate themselves for a pay cheque not for the host to hijack and turn it into a very special episode. I want to be entertained not lectured to.
I really hate double eliminations and now because they’ve left the boots so long it’s inevitable unless there’s half a dozen left in the finale.
Including tonight, there are six episodes left until the grand final on February 16. That means there will be double eliminations next week to reduce 12 celebrities to just three.
A slow burn of eliminations in the first fortnight, then boom, elimination every night in the final week. This type of show, i dont mind the rapid end of the show.
Why bother watching if you feel the need to criticise every little detail. I’d rather watch, in your words, has beens, than the never were stupid 15 minute of fame seeking MAFS crew!
The bottom 5 were announced at the start of tonight’s episode.
Nicky, Shayna, Tina, Sigrid, Zach
It would be nice if Robert heard Julia’s jokes for the first time live
As quickly as they arrived, our celebs are leaving the jungle and returning to their glamourous lives, and this time it was Nicky Buckley who said goodbye to her fellow celebs.
Launching into the experience by elegantly grabbing a dangling star and leaping off a dam wall, the TV host also turned trash into treasure alongside Samantha Moitzi as they dumpster dived and managed to bring home 10 stars for their hungry campmates. Not a spitter or a quitter, Nicky did a spew-tiful job in the girls vs boys tucker trial, munching on pig eyeballs, goat anus, and bull testicles.
In camp Nicky dazzled the celebs with stories from life and the four decades she spent in front of the camera, including the headlines she made by appearing on TV pregnant, and the incredible story of giving birth to her second child at home when she went into labour unexpectedly.
Nicky’s time in the jungle was in support of a cause very close to her heart, Ovarian Cancer Australia. “I lost my Mum to Ovarian Cancer 20 years ago at 67 years old,” Nicky explained. “Unfortunately, after all these years there is still no early detection test for ovarian cancer, so I am passionate about raising awareness for the signs and symptoms for women to look out for.
“Ovarian Cancer Australia provides support in numerous ways to those living with ovarian cancer to ensure no woman diagnosed with the disease walks alone,” Nicky continued. “They also advocate for funding for support services and research into one day finding a cure.”
It would be nice if he knew how to banter with anything comedic or improvised. He seems a nice guy who can read an autocue but seriously the show needs someone who can actually bounce off Julia.
I think a straight man/woman is good to balance Julia but they need charisma to make her jokes work. With Chris they did, with Robert they just die very quickly and things move back to autocue reading far too quickly.
According to this video, the celebs get just rice & beans during the days the show is not on air.
That’s six meals of rice and beans on Fridays and Saturdays. Boring.
Double elimination on Monday.
An Olympic Effort.
Shayna Jack Farewells I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
Sadly, it wasn’t the podium finish she had hoped for as Olympic gold medallist, Shayna Jack, was the next celebrity to be voted out of the jungle tonight.
Arriving as one of the two team captains, Shayna instantly got down and dirty as she and her crew of celebs had to crawl through some truly terrifying tunnels under the dam and immediately come face-to-face with one her biggest fear: crocs.
In camp, Shayna spoke candidly about the sacrifices she’s made to be an elite athlete, as well as the drug testing controversy that saw her banned from her beloved sport, and her incredible fight to get back in the pool which resulted in her winning two gold medals in Paris.
But the accolades don’t stop there, during her time in the jungle Shayna discovered she had been awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia.
Shayna’s jungle highlights include playing a wild game of bingo in a secret mission and going on a Macca’s Run with Tina Provis and Sam Thaiday, earning a McDonalds feast for the whole camp. While Shayna, aka ‘The Bean Queen’, may not have become the MasterChef of the jungle, she did conquer any trial she faced including Hole Lotta Trouble, where she went face-to-face with Matty J and brought home the stars for the women of the camp.
Shayna’s time in the jungle was for an amazing cause, supporting the Prostate Cancer Australia Foundation. “My dad got diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2023 and my fiancé’s pop died from prostate cancer,” Shayna said.
“The reason I want to support this important charity is because of how far they have come due to the research and support they offer. My dad was able to catch it early because of the preventative measures in place.”
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Monday To Thursday At 7.30pm And Sundays At 7pm On 10 And 10 Play.
Beau offered ‘ridiculous’ amount for TV show
Ryan told news.com.au the offer, which was worth more than $500,000, came at a time when Network 10 was keen to attract big names for the relatively unknown show.
“The money was big … because everyone didn’t know how the show was going to pan out,” he said. “Back then it was a lot more money and it was a ridiculous amount.”
Ryan told news.com.au he turned down the offer because he was contracted to Nine at the time.
Years later after jumping ship to Network Ten, Ryan agreed to appear on I’m a Celeb in 2022, albeit for far less money.
Sigrid Thornton And Tina Provis Leave I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
It was double the heartbreak tonight as we said goodbye to not one but two of our beloved celebs with Sigrid Thornton and Tina Provis leaving the camp.
Sigrid may be a multi-award-winning actor but she leaves the jungle with her most impressive accolade yet: the record for the longest time spent in the Viper Room, clocking an impressive 33 minutes surrounded by 170 snakes. Sigrid’s other trial highlights included being tied to train tracks in Train-Stopping, and making her way across a rickety bridge in Tune of Doom.
During her time in camp, Sigrid wowed her fellow celebs with the tales of her celebrity encounters. From dinner with the Queen to meeting David Bowie, Sigrid also opened up about her recent ADHD diagnosis, and shared stories about her mum’s activism in the 1960s, which included chaining herself to the bar rail of the Regatta Hotel in Brisbane.
Sigrid’s time in the jungle was in support of Dementia Australia, she explained: “Dementia is a problem that most families will encounter. It is very challenging to see a loved one ‘disappear’ and to lose connection with the people close to them. It was painful to see this happen to my mother who lived most of her life as a very intelligent, strong and focused person.”
“My charity provides support to families dealing with dementia and is also supporting research to find strategies to better deal with the condition.”
And camp will be a lot quieter as we farewell our resident scream queen Tina, who made quite an impact on our eardrums during her first trial Under the Dam. Tina squealed her way through a Frosty Welcome, brought home the burgers in the Great Aussie Run (aka The Maccas Run), and had us screaming with laughter during the Block-Bug-Ster Video eating trial.
During her time in camp, Tina opened up about overcoming bullying when she was growing up, being a woman of colour in the media, the response to her time on Love Island, and the power that representation can have.
Tina’s time in camp has also been in support of Dementia Australia, a cause very close to her heart. “Dementia has had a big impact on my life, as we lost my Pop to the condition. Watching someone you love go through dementia is heartbreaking, and it is equally heartbreaking to see the impact it has on your whole family as they slowly say goodbye to the person they knew so well,” she said.
“Dementia Australia helps to support people living with dementia, their families, and carers. They also support vital research and health workers providing essential care to those affected,” Tina continued. “I know firsthand that dementia has a flow-on effect, causing huge pressure and strain for families as they look to care for those they love.”
