Yes, those T & C’s are vaguely familiar as I have viewed them in the past. What I meant to say was that nothing was stopping them except their T & Cs. Sorry, I should have proofread before sending!
For this trial it was notable that Julia and Robert didn’t refer to a celebrity being voted for, just chosen. So Sigrid most likely knew and agreed to go into the viper room. Viewers weren’t asked to vote.
Sigrid’s Viper Room had a twist. While laying in the snake pit, she had to guess the identity of six celebrities on a board in the camp, using three worded clues offered by campmates, via a direct phone line. Robert and Julia would take down the clues and pass them on to Sigrid. Each correct answer would earn her a star. That made up six of 13 stars. She had to earn the other seven stars alone as in previous Viper Room trials.
I think Sigrid is in with a good chance to win. Very down to earth
Nice surprise to see Terri Irwin in the treehouse, standing next to the crew, in tonight’s episode. Robert and Terri were discussing a photo taken three decades ago when Sigrid visited Australia Zoo and posed for a photo with Steve and Terri.
Bindi Irwin also replied to the Instagram post:
Terri posted to her own Instagram last week that she’s also in South Africa watching her son co-hosting the show.
Zach is one of the most invisible contestants ever. It’s like he’s not even there most of the time. Surely they could have picked a more interesting AFL player.
The celebrities talking about their charities always is emotional to watch. All personal. And all worthy charities.
I said this on day 1. He won’t last long. Just too dry and boring for the show.
My god they are all so boring. Not an ounce of conflict in sight and everyone is deathly dull. Not even the stories, PR rehab (Yeah nah Shayna) or personal history are any good. I think it sums it all up best when everyone was expecting Raygun and then Shayna popped up. Dud.
Tina Provis has really pissed me off though. I am sick of this BS false narrative that gets trotted out that in her case their was no Asian representations on Australian screens when she was growing up. Let’s dissect.
She was born in 1996. So for representation for toddler/preschool (Playschool), for pre teen (The Sleepover Club), for teens (Heartbreak High repeat on ABC3, Masterchef Australia [Hello Po & Adam] & Big Brother 2008), drama (Please Like Me, All Saints, The Circuit, East West 101) and she was probably too old for Mako Mermaids. I didn’t include old shows like Chances, Spellbinder, G.P, Home & Away (Yes even H&A) Secret Life of Us, Something in the Air, Welcher & Welcher and these shows were only off the top of my head.
Was Tina living under a rock or too busy being an idiot airhead.
It’s definitely the worst season in a long time.
I don’t mind this season but definitely not as exciting a cast as last season. There are a few contestants there that don’t add much at all. Like Zach and Sam particularly.
What I’m really enjoying are the Rob and Julia interactions on set. I feel like there have been quite a few funny moments this season. Rob has really settled in the role too and really shines on this show.
It seems like from Sunday they will start eliminating someone every episode until the end. The boot order will probably be fairly predictable this season. Some obvious early boots and some obvious ones that will probably be there till the end. It wouldn’t surprise me if Matty, Regina and Harrison get right until the end and maybe Max as he’s been quite funny. Sigrid and Dave have been entertaining too but not sure how they will go with the voting public.
SLight change to the name of tonight’s challenge

And voting
The voting change means viewers in NT and WA won’t be able to vote online to save one of the bottom five. Due to time difference, by the time Sunday’s episode screens in both regions, one celebrity will have been eliminated.
Sam, Shayna and Tina won 8.5 stars in the renamed Macca’s Run, however McDonald’s was generous to give the trio the full 13 stars, with the condition that the new trial name and reward were kept a secret from their campmates until dinner.
Yesterday the AFL announced that Zach Tuohy would be bestowed with life membership at the 2025 season launch. I wonder if they would break the news to Zach while he is in the jungle (similar to Nicky Buckley revealing Shayna Jack’s OAM honour at dinner time one week ago), or wait until Zach is in the treehouse with Robert and Julia?
I like the change in voting. It uses the live format better and creates some buzz during the episode.
I’m just interested if the bottom 5 are only revealed to viewers or if it’s to the contestants as well. If it’s to the contestants, then it would give them a bit of an indication of how they are fairing with the public.
Well I’m sure that they could vote if they really wanted too by checking the 10play app before the show airs there.
Oh I see their strategy this year, probably will be the same as Big Brother.
top 5 are safe, bottom 5 are in danger meaning producers can pick out of the bottom 5 who they want to send home.
Personally I think they’ve done it to encourage people to tune in from the start of the ep, rather than just watching the last 10 mins for the announcement. This creates a bit more incentive to tune in from 7
