If its not her its someone that looks very similar.
Based on the people in the background or the silhouette picture they posted?
The people in the background.
It does look like them! I really hope they are just production people. That would be the end for the series. Im barely watching it now.
David Oldfield & Co arenāt scared of a reality franchiseā¦
Whatās with all this drama going on in the camp regarding Kerry and the word elimination? I havnāt watched last nights episode yet but I saw a video on facebook and it looks intense. Gosh she annoys me. I remember her drilling her Australia Day views into Danny Green earlier in the series and now she seems to have an issue with Shannon and the show using the word āeliminationā. Get her off.
I think the intruders would have been planned or are only being added because two people quit. Itās also quite possible that this ādysfunctional coupleā are not actually coming on as contestants but visiting for a day or two? Weāve had people like that previous seasons.
I wouldnāt call them a dysfunctional couple but Matt and Laura just finished their holiday in South Africa. Could it be them? Odd way to describe them though if thatās the case.
Who are Matt and Laura?
Matty J. Last seasons Bachelor and winner.
Yep. The Australia day thing a couple weeks ago annoyed me cos her and Danny both had different views but she wouldnāt accept he has his own opinion and reacted like her view was the only right view. When Danny tried to shut the discussion down (which was the right thing to do as he didnāt want a political discussion) she acted like he was completely in the wrong.
From the snippet I saw of last night she is going the whole politically correct route again and itās annoying. If you donāt like the word āEliminationā then doesnāt go on a show that has eliminationsā¦
Surely, they wouldnāt repeat that sort of casting?
Donāt be too sure. They donāt seem to have too many original ideas. Have you seen the challenges? They are basically the same as every other year.
No. I only watched a bit of the first season and it was already becoming repetitive in that season. From what Iāve seen in the promos, there is nothing new with the challenges. Iām just surprised any people still want to watch it.
The UK has had 17 seasons and its still going strong with the last series averaging 10 million. It doesnt seem to be a problem for them.
But it is for us. We lose interest in everything faster.
Fair enough. I would wait until the Olympics are over and see if the ratings somewhat recover. If they dont then I would think about if the show should come back next year.
I agree that all networks will only evaluate ratings for key shows after the Olympics are finished. The numbers for most have been affected to some extent.
Iām always surprised anyone watches MKR a vastly inferior production to Iām a Celebrity! Oh thatās right some would watch 7 even if they showed an old fashioned test pattern all night. Kerry was right to argue about Australia Day, Green might be a good boxer but not really very bright. Shannon agreed with Kerry but Iāve seen no criticism of him. Go Kerry, always been one of my favourite actors.
One of the problems with Iām A Celebrity is it follows the same format every year eg Tucker Trial Tuesday, Eviction Sunday; and a lot of the challenges are the same each year. They need to mix things up a bit.
The challenges should be the sub-plot to the shenanigans of the celebritiesā¦
Agreed, I enjoy the daily interactions of the camp. The challenges could be cut to a 60 second highlight clip and that would be sufficient for me.
I think thats also why CBB US failed here. The whole episode is just the housemates playing games and strategising who they are going to nominate and evict.
