Simple - I’ve not long gotten home from the footy. Also, had to get some dinner, and prepare for a very important appointment tomorrow.
Instead of shutting down a whole thread or completely blocking a user, why not block a user from a particular thread, I don’t know if that’s possible, but some people clearly need to be removed from particular spaces.they have decent contributions in other threads. This could also be good for the poster as well as the forum.

My understanding that the sections with locks (such as the spectrum and after dark) can’t be accessed by those on the mod queue.
(At the risk of stirring the pot further) the suggestion by one of the mods of adding the word “woke” to the list of banned words is a good idea at reducing the spectrum threads from descending into round about discussions about political ideology theory

No, but i haven’t been able to mark posts as “read” for the last 24 hours.

Not that specifically, but the forum continues to be slow most of the time, even well after midnight. Often has trouble with remembering which posts that have been read - constantly thinking something new has been posted only to find it was read 20 hours ago. When I do a search to find a topic or see if something has already been posted, get the Site under heavy load message - try again later a lot. Feels like the site is under constant DoS attack.

I think there has been a recent update as some things are looking different. Like the link to unread posts seems to have disappeared from the drop down link list for example but if you go to https://forums.mediaspy.org/unread seems to work however. Yes the unread updating not working is most annoying. What I have found that seems to help is if you scroll down all the way in the topic and make sure the counts match ie 105 of 105 it should stay as read if you don’t scroll all the way down it doesn’t updated properly I’m using the site on mobile with Brave browser.

Obviously not a true solution but I believe you can manually mark all your unread topics as read manually by pressing the “dismiss” button on the unread topics page at either the top or bottom of your screen depending on your device.

I am getting error messages like “503 error” and “Server is experiencing a high load” more often, when browsing via laptop or mobile. I have to refresh 3-4 times just to get to the end of a thread.

This site has had that issue for over 15 years. I always have to go back into a thread again to mark it off.

I’m finding it very difficult to post comments on my mobile. Often, half way through the post it tries to exit and I see Reload and Ignore buttons.

I do feel the comment box has less and less functions with major site updates - the last one removed the button to paste the comment you’re replying to into the draft (which is useful when quoting stills), while the latest version dropped the option to preview your post while editing.
ETA: Just realised the quote post button has moved into the + menu, but there used to be a button next to image upload for previews.
