Whatever is deemed troubling under the complaint.
Of course that is subjective so the original complainant will have to point out exactly what those posts are.
Like in this example, I don’t know what trouble they caused with their posts, but there will be exhibits A, B, C… Just delete them, and then delete the subsequent reactions to those posts too.
Pretend like that has never been brought up.
I mean, take it from me. I have a couple of things I wished I never posted either.
I’m assuming you mean the removal of posts and behaviour of mods? Another one of my posts got removed in the 9 CandA thread for “not adding anything useful to the discussion” and for “the joke being said too many times” It was just a post about how I had so many unread posts and nothing even happened to 9news. And a few other people have gotten lectured about their post like this too. I thought this was a discussion forum but anyway…
I will say though, @WAtvVideos is one of the better mods when it comes to approaching issues. He wasn’t rude and seems to be actually solving my issue unlike some other mods who seem to just be rude or laugh and not do anything about it.
Yes that joke gets made every time there’s heaps of unread posts, either with or without a significant development. Neither original nor funny. As you point out later in your post. it’s a discussion forum, so you would expect discussion.
Yes I know but the post wasn’t breaking the forum rules or being rude or anything and quite a few people reacted to it with the laugh emoji so I’m not sure why a mod felt the need to remove it when it was just a joke. And like you said, countless other people have made the joke and they have not been removed, including a post just like that but a few days after.
Message me next time you see one And I’ll delete it.

Why was my post in the Nine Network 2026 thread removed? All I asked was did Nine finally launch new livestreams for the rest of their NBN Northern NSW footprint (e.g: streams for Coffs and Port Macquarie), and my post got removed. Who removed it? I posted this because maybe I thought Nine would’ve finally launched new 9Now streams for their other NBN Northern NSW regional stations.
I removed it. It wasn’t the slightest bit relevant to the discussion of what was being launched at their upfronts - unless somehow they squeezed in the launch of a livestream for Port Macquarie in between spruiking the Winter Olympics and Married At First Sight.

Quick suggestion - similar to how the Paris Olympics and Paralympics threads were renamed to Olympics (General Thread), and Paralympics (General Thread), could the same be done with the 2026 Commonwealth Games thread?

Just hoping to toss around an idea if I may.
Is anyone else getting, shall we say bored?, of every-time a sporting event causes Seven or Nine News at 6pm to start later than the advertised time the relevant thread turns to turmoil and is flooded with no less than 30 or so posts about it?
I believe the last time this happened I maybe remembering incorrectly but there was even members giving match point updates until said game had finished?
My proposal - a new thread, just one, titled 6pm news delay or something? Or even a general forum rule that it doesn’t even need to be mentioned at all?
Thoughts!

It’s a difficult one. I do think it is relevant if it is a significant delay, but at the same time you are right that it normally devolves into a debate over delaying the news (of which I am guilty of sometime propagating - even in meme form!).
Yeah, this I found frustrating for the same reasons I found the weird status updates of the Winning Arvo prize money frustrating. It doesn’t really add to the discussion and mostly isn’t relevant. Should be kept to the relevant sporting thread.
If it is going to be allowed, I do think it should stay in the relevant thread because it is going to be specific to a certain news service. But whether it should be allowed I’m not sure.
