I don’t understand why we can’t donate some money to the site, obviously if you want to. I understand you are short of time but perhaps if enough was raised you could hire someone or ask someone in this forum to assist with an upgrade. For me I don’t have any issues with slowness on the forum. I get the occasional message about traffic but it works fine for me. But I would be more than happy to donate to a forum that has been apart of my life for close to 20 years.

I suspect we’re hitting the limit of the server in terms of memory - I need to find some time to do a database upgrade that may help (it needs some significant downtime by the look of it)

Maybe during a non-ratings period later this year have like one thread for each network open and that’s it (Ratings can be found from TVT in the meanwhile) and run upgrades?

That’s not how it works. If there is downtime, there is no forum.
Either way I don’t mind a few days downtime if it keeps the site up to date.

I agree - there isn’t really much discussion over the summer break (particularly at the start of the year), so I don’t think it would be a huge inconvenience.
Now you’ve said that, 10 will put I’m A Celeb Jan 2 or something!

When is this? Ratings are year round now.
After we dish out on the Carols on Seven and Nine, we can all have a break in here, just in time to bash out ABC’s NYE Coverage

Happens to me occasionally on my phone every now and then, but certainly not 4 times in a day.
Anybody noticed that in some threads the replies to comments are not shown further down in the thread. There is a notification on the original comment but you have to click on it to view the comment. Why is this happening now?
