Thanks for clarifying. That’s weirdly sporadic however?
So… commercial and announcer free since 8:55am?
Maybe they will drop the SHit branding Australia-wide and use the 2Day branding instead.
I very much doubt that will happen.
Yeah. You keep believing that.
Full hour’s music log over in that thread. Currently playing Guns N’ Roses, because 2DayFM Rocks World Square or something.
Edit: and we all thought Edge FM Wangaratta had the strangest playlist - look at this!
Ok mate!
That one is a first ive never heard a pop music station play guns and roses before:joy:
They would have been on the playlist when they were on the charts and have been part of old skool all the time. November Rain has probably been played on every radio station at some stage.
Too bad they didn’t do their research properly.
From the Instagram story alone, it’s clear (to anyone who’s paid attention to 2Day in the past year) that Em and Ed are definitely in Melbourne and Grant is in Sydney.
Further, Grant instagram yesterday posted a clip saying how he was going to be away from home for work.
This has been a staple of the show since the first show in 2017, and is also a part of all other hit breakfast shows.
And from the snippet they played from the openung of the show, they have hit the ground running.
They played off each other really well and had a brilliant interaction that sounded like they had already been working together for ages. They were firing on all cylinders from the start.
Following MC and Jaben on instagram, it appears that they’re having a photo shoot today, so that probably explains the absence of announcers today.
Ah good! That’s a fair enough explanation.
On their Instagram stories.
Simple minds wont you on 2dayfm right now this is a bizarre Playlist
It appears all the metro stations breakfast programs were back this morning except for Fox. Odd considering they have the Australian Open they could be presenting from!
Yes that’s quite a missed opportunity right there.
In fact, all Hit shows are back this week except for Fox breakfast, Carrie & Tommy and Hughesy & Kate - all originating from Melbourne.
