They probably donāt care anymore. I think ARN have given up on local at KIIS. All they care about these days is relaying K&J into Melbourne and trying to get them to No.1 in the Melbourne radio ratings. I reckon before you know it, with the way things are going at the moment, they might just shift remaining local production over to Sydney and turn the KIIS Melbourne transmitter into a direct repeater of KIIS 1065 from Sydney, with Sydney news, Sydney weather, Sydney traffic, and of course, Sydney commercials. Remember, KIIS is SoSydney, theyāre not a Melbourne brand whatsoever.
At least Fox FM knows what theyāre doing. Keeping it live and local in Melbourne.

If its a permanent switch, Mix joins Nova with the 6am start while 96fm and Triple M stay at 5:30am

Yeah the thought has crossed my mind too whether 2day fm would be better off with a single solo female presenter at breakfast, with plenty of guests. The Zoe Ball show on R2 is actually quite listenable.
