They’re probably trying to recreate the success from the Living room format which was originally from WTFN. Then 10 bought it in house and butchered it.

You can still have a looser vibe with Chrissie on locations without needing a cold studio environment trying to create something artificial.

Watching Healthy Wealthy and Wise tonight and I would say Christie Swan could easily have her own daytime show on 10.

The show is alright and Chrissie is good in the role, but feels very obviously pre-recorded and the set feels cold.
Has none of the same charm that The Living Room had.

It’s not a bad little show for Saturday night. Easy to watch. But Chrissy looks so awkward and uncomfortable in the opener. That needs changing if a new series goes ahead.

Seems that Seven has an overload of lifestyle programs running at the same time. Perhaps spreading them out across the schedule more would also help.

I do wonder if Chrissie was pushed into doing this, I mean she has been in media circles for some two decades or more now since the OG BB and would surely have plenty of contacts. Might’ve even been a favour (wage aside).
Because yeah to me, she doesn’t exactly seem super natural and comfortable, compared to other TV and radio programs she’s been involved with in the past. I mean she’s fine and a pro, some might not even notice, but isn’t exactly screaming like she wants to be there
