Great songs heard on radio

Today on Rebel I heard the excellent Iron Maiden deep cut “Die With Your Boots On”, something you’d never hear anywhere else in Australian FM radio as far as commercial radio goes.

I must be following you sort of. I went to Inverell, deep in Super Radio territory. Now back to a spot need Tuncurry, wanted to listen a bit of 2re don’t tell the family lol. A positive for SRN all the legacy have their own music formats. Got it on 100. 3 FM today. Enjoyed the thunderbolt hwy, really nice drive.

That’s the one I’ll play next week, though the news will be somewhat old hat by then.

It was on the Hit Network regionally in Qld at about 7:40 AM (it was a text off between that and Holding Out For a Hero).

That wasn’t the correct song I played, was mislabelled in my collection. Not sure what it was…might have to Shazam it!

Glad to see some more love for The Vaughans  I wonder if it appears on JJJ Hottest (since it made the Hottest 100, 1995).
